I only had this for a week when it fell out of my pocket into the toilet so I never got to give it a good try.

I was looking for a simple camera to operate without a flash so that I could take pictures inside art museums that don't allow a flash, and also to take pictures while fishing and kayaking. I have been able to do both to my satisfaction. It's price (it is an older model now being replaced) was quite low so if I drop it into the water and lose it not much is lost. I have a benign tremor but the camera holds steady after I push the shutter button well enough that I got good results --- even with the telephoto setting. I won't say that purple is my favorite color, but at least it is easy to find after I lay it down. Geo.

Much poorer resolution than even the specs suggested. Clever design, though. Too bad.
