Really solid DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. Plugged it in and it worked instantly with no setup at all. Picture looks great in 4K, and it carries both audio and video with a sturdy, secure connection. Definitely a good buy if you need a simple, reliable adapter.

I bought this adapter because my new computer only has DisplayPort outputs, while my monitor accepts only HDMI. This adapter let me connect the two easily and inexpensively. I plugged it into my PC, attached my existing HDMI cable, and everything worked right away. It does exactly what I needed, so I can confidently recommend it.

I was very pleased with this adapter. It is well made, works flawlessly and at a great price. Connection is solid and has a tight fit with my better HDMI cables. I had a cheaper HDMI cable that did have a tight connection but that wasn't the fault of this adapter. I would recommend this adapter.

I recently had a media center desktop computer upgraded to new components (CPU, Memory, etc.). This computer had two HDMI outputs. In the "second" system in which I use this computer I have a 7" monitor and a video projector. I use the monitor when I play music and the projector when I show movies using this system. (I can use them both at the same time but I usually do not do so.) Well, that media center computer HAD two HDMI outputs but the newer components came with only one HDMI output and one Display Port output. I have nothing that uses Display Port and I need that second output. What to do? As always, when I run across a problem like this, I did a search here on Amazon to see what I could buy to rectify the situation. It appears to be "built like a tank." It just plugs directly into the DP and its output goes directly to an HDMI cable. Obviously, as you can tell from my Star rating and the title of my review, it works absolutely perfectly. And for $5.99 you just can't go wrong. It's a genuine bargain. EXTREMELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Pretty good, gets the job done. I use it for my second monitor however it tends to overheat and the video kind of shuts off. Can't really blame the product, my computer gets very hot from editing videos

It works just fine, no degradation in picture quality. It works with any monitor that supports hdmi.
