Paw Grip for Dogs (2 oz)

This product is amazing!!! I have a 15+ year old dog that has been slipping on my hard wood floors and falling down and not able to get up and we were desperate to try something to improve her quality of life. This product really works! She is no longer slipping and seems so much happier. My dog even lets me apply it with no fight given she knows it works!!!! I sometimes warm it up with a blow dryer or infant of the heater to soften the wax to help it go on easy give it is a hard wax and can be hard to get it on the first try. I apply it every 1-2 days to ensure it keeps working. Thank you for creating this product! I'm not sure why the other reviews are negative, I'm guessing maybe it didn't go on correctly. I bought this for our 14 year Min-pin that was having trouble getting traction on our hard wood and tile floor. Unfortunately, it not only didn't help but made her grip worse. The wax is really hard so it doesn't apply easily. Once you do get some on the paw pad, it's greasy and makes their feet even more slippery. And sadly by the time the greasiness is gone, so is the wax. I would not recommend this but instead some type of boot, sock, or shoe for traction.

We got this for our little chihuahua/terrier mix pup. She is unstable on her long hind legs and has a neurological disorder. This did not help much. She did not seem too interest in it, so she didn't lick it which was great. It seemed like the more times we used it, the more she slid on our tile floors. We invested in carpet runners instead.

My dog is elderly and had gotten to the point where she could no longer keep her footing on the tile flooring. She had to be carried everywhere. After 4 days of using this she can stand up and walk by herself more easily. I would recommend letting the product dry completely before allowing your dog to get up. Before it dries, it will make your dogs paws even more slippery. The product also seems to improve her foot grip more as time goes on. The first day I saw no results, but after using it once every day I can see her improving.

My lab has had such a hard time on hard floors. I have rugs everywhere, but he still manages to slip. I was starting to worry that he might really hurt himself and started looking into products. I tried traction socks first, but they were really hard to get on and they would slip off. This stuff has really helped! His pads are more moisturized, giving him more grip. He is normally very squirmy, but after 2 applications he stopped fussing at all. He seems to like how it feels and doesn't pull his feet away or try to lick it off. Based on another review, I tried applying it at night. It absorbs overnight and he has traction in the morning. It seems to last all day. I highly recommend trying this if your dog slips on hard floors!

I purchased the paw wax to help my 13 year old Shihtzu gain stability walking on our hardwood floors. It smelled good and went on his paw pads nicely. However, it did the opposite. It made his paw pads so soft and smooth that he kept slipping everywhere. His paws felt so nice, but I think the product worked better as a softener than a grip.

At the suggestion of the Pet Boarding Service we utilize, we purchased this paw grip for our oldest furry friend. He injuried his rear leg somehow and became very timid to walk on hardwood floors or tile floors.. they suggested paw grip that is applied as a stick paste. At first our dog wasn’t fond of applying it to his paw pads, but he got used to it.. it helped him walk with confidence and helped him heal. Best investment we made to help our old guy, Riley.

Decided to try it out due to my aging dog slipping on our floors and being unable to get himself up. Looked like a great option, and the easiest to apply compared to the other methods of adding grip to paws. It's a fine moisturizer, but I bought it as a grip...and it doesn't do that. At all. In fact, my dogs paws are even MORE slippery! It's dangerous and I'm legitimately upset. I ended up putting grip-tape on the areas he walks on because this product made his paws so much more slippery. Do not buy this product.
