Nutricost R-Alpha Lipoic Acid 100mg, 120 Capsules, Veggie Capsules

After suffering from “hot feet” at night that woke me during sleep, a neurologist recommended ALA. Just one pill a day and my problem disappeared. Apparently ALA is prescribed in Europe for restless leg syndrome and other neuropathies. Capsules are easy to swallow but drink a full glass of water when you take it. As its name says, it’s an acid. Great value. Highly effective. Do a bit of research and see if it can help you. I’ve been using it for two years and it’s been amazing.

If you have neuropathy this is a valuable supplement to add to your routine. My neurologist suggested I add this to decrease my polyneuropathy symptoms after my total spine reconstruction. The pins and needles, itching, settles it. Nothing makes the nerve damage go away. But diminishing it adds relief.

Nothing wrong with this product, but it wasn't for me. ALA puts quite a sulfur load on the body and I am too sensitive to sulfites to tolerate this.

It's only 100mg instead of many other products that have higher dosages. However, it does the job for me. Also a lower cost. In doing research, much better to use R-Alpha Lipoic rather than plain Alpha Lipoic. No more leg cramps at night.

Easy to take and a convenient addition to my daily routine

Bei meiner komplexen Erkrankung sehr hilfreich auch wenn es keine Medikamente ersetzt, aber ohne dem geht nix! Seit Langzeit Einnahme deutliche Unterschiede festgestellt Kognitiv aufjedenfall Positiv und besser verträglicher als Medikamente!

I use it for weight loss as it reduces cravings well. Tried a few times in life. Aware that it’s a morning pill due to it affecting the sleep. Suggestion to avoid taking it late. Once I could not sleep at all as took it in the evening.

Used it now for over a month, and I believe it's a great product
