Love this knife. It is nicely weighted. Very sharp. The handle detail is elegant. What’s not to like.

This is the best chef's knife I have ever had. It came out of the box razor sharp. It's an absolutely beautiful piece of hardware, the pictures do not do it enough justice. The weight of the knife is substantial and it feels like a heavy duty tool. It is so balanced when you pinch the tang giving you total comfortable control. I have had several knives at this price point and even owned one much more expensive than this. I am going to replace my current set with this brand, and I believe my endless search for the best knife I can afford is finally over,

I had previously bought the pairing knife and was impressed with the sharpness and how well it cuts. This knife arrived in very nice packaging, great for a gift. The knife is well made and gorgeous. It arrived reasonably sharp, but I sharpened it with my Work Sharp Ken Onion sharpener. It now slices like nothing I have ever owned. This knife is capable of becoming chef sharp. I give it a lot of respect, if you touch yourself while cutting, you are cut. Very happy with it. Has more weight than most knives of this size but I believe that helps with reminding me of what it is capable of.

EDITED 12/10: My replacement knife is MUCH sharper than the previous one, purchased in late Nov, that I replaced. So far I am pleased with this replacement knife, however I plan to wash and dry it immediately to avoid any problems with spotting on the metal, as I experienced with the previous knife. I am raising my rating from 1 star to 4. OLDER: I tried this exact knife at my cousin's house for an early Thanksgiving meal in early Nov. It was heavily used and performed beautifully, so I decided to buy one for myself. Unfortunately, straight out of the box, this one does not cut nearly as well as the one I tried at my cousin's. The metal on this one also "stained" while in a dish drainer waiting to be dried. I have never had a knife do this before. The metal of this knife must be defective...I am very disappointed. Amazon makes returns and replacements easy, so I opted for a replacement. I hope I am not sorry, but at least I know I can get a refund if the second knife turns out defective like this one.

This is a beautiful knife. Extremely sharp. Well balanced. Easley one of the nicest kitchen knifes I own.

This series of knives are definitely first rate,feels good in the hand and is easy to work with.I am really pleased and glad I purchased these knives.I highly recommend this product!

I LOVE this knife. Treated myself to this beauty ($30 makes it an even better treat). As a stay-at-home mom who cooks for her family 3 meals a day, (almost) 7 days a week, and considers herself a well-versed home cook, I've got quite the collection of knives (some $300+) and this is my all-time favorite! It's PERFECT for my super small build/hands. Great weight, VERY sharp and sharpens beautifully. Cannot live without it!

Used for cutting holiday nougat into squares. A longer bladed kitchen knife with a good edge is a chef’s master tool. This one does not disappoint.

This would be good for someone with very small hands. The handle is smaller than my other knives. It is very pretty, and even though a bit small, it works well.
