Sometime after diving into another furniture painting project it occurred to me that I should probably get some painter's tape for this particular piece. I couldn't decide whether I needed the green or yellow version, so I got both. The directions for the yellow say you have to wait 24 hours before application and you should remove the tape soon after painting, but that assumes you're using wall paint I think. With this, I waited until the acrylic was at least touch drythen attempted to apply. When laying the tape on nice flat surfaces, the lines are pretty clean. Obviously trying to lay in straight in tight areas will force you to touch up some areas, but whatever. I left the tape on for a day or so and it still came off easily. Overall, this tape is making my project a lot easier (and I wish I thought to buy it before).

If you are painting on paper and have an issue with tape peeling or tearing your paper - this is the tape you need! Removes very easily, great value for money. However because it is low tack there can be some leakage - especially on cold-pressed paper when using watercolor or thinned acrylic paint. For that I would advise green , not yellow. Removes very easily - which makes for low stress tape peels and the ability to tape to surface beneath painting and move to access from different angle with ease. Can write on it easily with pencil or pen to make notes while painting.

We’ve used this yellow tape for many years in our Venetian Plaster contracting business. Very crisp lines are possible. Leaves no residue. Usually need to use in short strips to keep it close to edges as it is not crepe paper tape by intent. Please note if using it over paint, the low tack adhesive will not pull properly applied and cured paint off surfaces. That will happen though if the dust from sanding has not been well removed. So ignore those who say it pulls paint off. They may not have prepped correctly or known if it was done right before they used it.

Hubby learned to paint interiors from a professional house painter, so, over the decades, we have painted our houses (only two) ourselves, except once when he was ill. (THAT "professional" was terrible.) My point is that we know a lot about painting the inside of a house. Hubby has used many different types of tape in his painting tasks, and this tape is the only tape he will use. The lines are sharp, and there is no bleeding if you apply it correctly. Our last painting task was a closet interior, and he taped the laminate floor inside the closet to protect it from the paint, and there is not a drop of paint anywhere! I cannot recommend this tape strongly enough. If you care about ease of use, sharp lines, no bleeding, and not damaging painted surfaces, this is the tape you need. And....I used a few pieces to hold some thin contact paper together to match the patterns before applying the paper, and when I peeled the tape off, there was no damage to the contact paper, and no adhesive residue left behind. We used to use the blue painter's tape for years, but now, this is the only tape we will use.

Pretty good painting tape with minimal bleed. The value for money is great as it comes with a pretty large roll. The stickiness is sticky enough to not come off while you are painting, but also not sticky enough to peal any dry paint off the wall. Overall, it’s pretty solid tape.

I used it for getting crisp lines on a banner I was painting. This worked great: no leaking and was gentle enough to not rip the paper when I was done.

I use it to frame off area in artwork. This one was a little too wide though. I usually use the green colored one. It doesn't do well with watercolor paints. Some of it may seap out the edges. It does keep paper from tearing when removed provided you use heavier paper than computer paper.

I love this tape as it will not harm your real wood. I used it it tape cardboard over the glass on my cabinet and it was perfect.

This Frog Tape works great for holding stencils in place, or even coving part of the stencil to create a different design. Be gentle when removing the frog tape on certain card stock as it could rip. I still give it a 5 star now that I know this.

Love this tape. More expensive than most but easier to work with. Does it truly prevent the paint from bleeding under? You have to be real careful to firmly place it in position or it will act like any other tape. Easy to remove even when sitting after days and is easier to place in position, than many tapes. I can tape quicker on account of its manageability and have continued to buy it for years. Sometimes it is just worth it to spend a little more.

Great at masking off areas and didn't pull of underlying paint or plaster. Made painting a room so much easier.
