I purchased this because I LOVE my silk sleep mask by NodPod. I saw it on sale on Prime Day and decided to take a chance on it. I wasn’t completely sure what I was buying or how to use it.I have used weighted blankets in the past, but I like this little pad so much better. It feels heavier than the blanket wherever I put it, but I never feel claustrophobic bc most of my body isn’t under it. It’s a great weight. It’s easy to move but heavy enough to be effective. It definitely triggers relaxation for me.I sleep with it over my arms/chest when I’m struggling to sleep. It works very well!I have found many uses for this, though. Sometimes I roll it up and use it as back support in bed, or use it as a very adjustable neck pillow when my actual neck pillow feels too bulky. I’ve also used it to target areas where I have chronic pain. I have hyper mobile EDS, so a lot of my pain comes from muscles that won’t relax. The weight from this relaxes those muscles. I can use it between my knees at night to keep my back in better alignment, and I’ve ever used it to push against my stomach when I was having stomach pain.This is a great product. I have been very impressed with it and so glad I took a chance on it. It’s pricey, but I used to make weighted baby dolls and I know how much these materials cost. I think the price is valid.If you’re curious - try it! If it’s not for you - send it back!

I love this weighted blanket! I wasn't sure it would be big enough and I love the small size. It is soft and not too warm. The quality is great and The material feels cool on one side and velvety on the other. Other blankets were too much weight but this one is the perfect size

I originally purchased one of these for my partner as a gift. Naturally, I had to try it out and immediately bought one for myself. I was using an electric heating pad for the longest time for comfort and to help me sleep, but I would wake up boiling. I am amazed at how this blanket works! It's just the right size and weight to put me into a deep state of relaxation (and at the perfect temperature). I gave it an initial wash, and it kept getting stuck on the spin cycle of my older washing machine (the machine would just stop due to the weight). I finally took it out, rolled it into some towels to soak up as much water as possible, and put it in the dryer, where it managed just fine with other towels. I'm sure this would be fine in a larger, newer washing machine per the instructions. Regardless, this blanket is my new sleep bestie!

This was an absolute game changer. I slept so soundly and the quality surpassed my expectations. It is soft. And it had just enough weight to make it feel like a nice warm hug.

Comforting and works in cold or hot weather, but might make you feel a little uncomfortable after awhile with the weight constantly pushing down on your body. I like to use for short periods of time best. Also very well made. Have not had to wash it yet so not sure how it holds up after doing so. Thanks

I literally fall asleep within minutes. I don’t like anything heavy on my legs at night. This little pod is perfect. It’s fabulous on flights.

It’s perfect for me - smaller than cheaper, similar options from other brands, but I prefer that. I’ve had the Nodpod weighted eye mask for years and love it, a coworker recommended this blanket and I’m glad I bought it.

I absolutely love this thing!! It’s heavier than I expected and I mean that in the best way possible! As someone who struggles to shut off their brain at night, it applies just the right amount of weight to calm me down and puts me right to sleep. I use it with my nod pod eye mask and I have never slept better. It can get a little warm but it naturally falls off when you roll around which I think is nice. It is super soft as well and didn’t have a weird smell to it either! Overall, this thing is great quality and has changed my sleep for the better. I love it!!

IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO FLY: Nice product. Bought it for Travel. Security took it from me. I guess the glass beads are “over the amount” available. Bad review is for that reason ONLY to warn people. Also, the one soft side is polyester, which isn’t great for the skin.
