I was pleasantly surprised
This is the best winter robe I have ever owned. It is very thick, soft and durable. I bought it in black. I recommend it to anyone who feels cold in thin plush robes.

It’s not a towel
What I wanted to buy was a bathrobe to dry myself after taking a shower, but the fabric of this robe is like a blanket — it doesn’t dry at all. It’s useless for putting on after a shower; I have to dry off with another towel first and then put this on just to keep warm. I feel like I was misled because it’s basically a blanket shaped like a robe. It’s not a towel for drying.

Very lovely
This is a very lovely robe. It is soft and just right for the cold weather. At first, I was very worried it wasn't gonna be long enough because I'm a bit tall, but I decided to give it a try, and it was just the right length for me. I would definitely be ordering a different colour soon.

UPDATE AS OF 8/15/26I have washed the robe once and it handled the wash very well. Nothing about the robe changed. I washed in warm water and put it in the dryer on the “more dry” setting. It didn’t shrink, no frayed threads or anything.HOWEVER: I did decide to order an XL. The large fits me fine but I have roommates and a few times when I sat down in the robe it opened a little too much for comfort and I ALMOST got exposed. So just to make sure I’m safe around roommates I ordered the extra large for the extra fabric to wrap around.I’m still really happy with it overall.So far I really like it. I will update once I’ve washed it a couple times and put some wear on it. But here is my first impression.Fit:I am 5’7” and 180 pounds. I ordered a large and it does overlap when closed but it’s just enough to be comfortable. That is not a complaint for me though, just the best way I can describe the fit. If you’re in my size range and like to have a little extra fabric to be extra cozy get the XL.I like how the large fits; I feel adequately covered.The hood is perfect for me. The fabric is strong enough that it’s not droopy around my face and gives me cozy coverage.Feel:It’s super soft and has some stretch. It’s warm but also breathes so you’re not overheating.
