First off. this knife is everything I need. ive had if for only 4 days and I've used it a multitude amount of times! pros- easy to use easily cleans up. I got paint on it and it came right off. sleek and feels good in the hand super cool! all my co-workers want one and I even bought a second one to give to my boss! the "flip function" is simple, doesnt require much force and quick! cons- its very bulky. i do not have small hands and in the linked video above you can see it dwarfs my hands. paint chips off! obviously with use it will but I used the paint can opener side and it got a decent amount of paint off. occasionally it does not open and "flip" to the side but if you put the blade back in and try again that fixes it. overall- wonderful knife. does exactly what you think it would and more! I now own two, after buying one for work I had to get one for home! If i could give it 4.5 stars I would.

Great for custodial type work does it all scraping stickers or gum off hard surfaces, opening boxes, paint cans etc

If you have ever picked up a tiny box cutter or razor knife, you know how hard they can be to hold onto. Great for portability and storage, but not as good for hard use. And don’t get me started on losing it while cutting up boxes or opening packages, LOL. When doing household projects, I sometimes have to pull the blade out of the razor in order to scrape a sticker or some adhesive off. Enter this bad boy! This ToughBuilt tool works as a regular utility knife that offers a large handle for a good grip. On top of that, it turns into a scraper as well, with just a push of a button. The fidget factor is off the charts. I find myself just sitting there pressing the button and watching the blade change orientation from utility knife to scraper, and back again. Over and over. There is something cathartic about using this tool. However, some of the goodness can be a detractor as well. This is a chonk of a tool, so it’s big and kinda heavy. And if you don’t really need the scraper feature or something this robust, then it’s just overkill. But if you need something fun to fidget with and built to do work, this might be for you.

Got it for my husband. He saw one on social media and really liked it so he seems to be enjoying it. I think it’s really cool. It also seems to be very sturdy and works well. A good value for the money.

I have been wanting one of these ToughBuilt convertibles for a few years since I first saw them advertised but they seemed unavailable at first. So when I saw them come up on Amazon, I ordered one. It arrived very promptly in commercial packaging in perfect condition. I keep it handy on my workbench and it has become my go-to utility knife. The fact that it converts into a scraper with the push of a button is a bonus. The handle is sturdy and feels good to hold. Uses the standard blades that I have had in all my old utility knives. I'll use the old ones around paint and varnish now.

A brilliant quality scraper and knife - more expensive than others, but it will last me a lifetime and is well worth for money. Thanks.
