How do i choose between this ufree shaver and andis and wahl?

I guess that’s a personal question. I like both of the well known brands you listed. I bought this razor out of curiosity, and I LOVE it. It’s great for stubble. Obviously using this razor for hair longer than stubble is more for clippers rather than a foil shaver.

Is this shaver fit for African-American men?

I learned that every African American has a different beard. But if you have flat-lying, coarse, curly beard, that probably won't work very well for you. I suggest you use another razor to cut it short first. This won’t give you as smooth a shave as a razor, but it significantly reduces skin irritation possibilities that lead to ingrown hair and bumps.

Is this good enough for a long, thick beard? Or do you have to trim with another razor before you use this one?

Depending on how long your hair is, ideally it will shave less than 1/25" of your stubble. If it's too long it won't work for you, which is the nature of a reciprocating razor. It is specially designed for shaving stubble and is recommended to be repaired every 1 to 2 days for better results.

Can I use this to shave my head?

Yes, the foil shaver can work on your head. Just make sure you get your hair cut as short as possible before you use.
