I was concerned they wouldn’t be that great after seeing the box they came in, but they’re actually beautiful and great quality! The rippled texture look is beautiful and eye catching, the wood grain on the handles feels great and luxury. And they’re super sharp! I haven’t used the sharpener yet but they seem like they’ll hold up. Overall it’s a great value.

This is an excellent knife set and great value!

I really like this knife set overall. The knives work well, look nice, and get the job done. My only real issue was with quality control. I received one too many of the same knife, and instead of getting the different knife that was supposed to be included, I ended up with seven of the same style instead of six. It’s not a huge problem, but it’s definitely something the company should pay more attention to. I also wish the color was a little deeper brown, and the spacing in the block/setup seems slightly off. That said, they’re still good knives and functional for everyday use. I do think they’re priced a little higher than they should be, but overall it’s still a nice set.

Knife Block Set for Dummies! LOL 😂 Beautiful knife block set and it's definitely idiot proof. I mean it's perfect! Each knife 🔪 is stamped with what type of knife it is as well as the top of the wooden block. Great idea. That way you will always know which knife goes into which slot, also, the font on the wooden block is very stylish. The blades are made of High German Carbon Stainless Steel 'Made in China' 😂.The other thing I love about it is that it matches the wooden handle of my coffee pot perfectly. I also like the straight, upright design, it gives you more room on the countertop and it won't block the view of my cute distressed nesting crate. As I always say "It's all about the Looks" LOL I also love the black blades. The packaging is amazing, each knife was individually wrapped in 2 plastic sleeves with a plastic protective cap on the tip of the knife. Like I said: "Idiot proof!" LOL 😂 Only drawback about the design is that I will either have to tilt it or move it out from under the cupboards in order to take them out. Unlike other blocks that have a slanted angle, however, they also take up more space. Tried the Chef's knife for the first time last night to slice some chicken tenders and you won't even have to slice the meat. Just push the knife down the meat falls apart. Be careful, they (at least the one I tried) are as sharp as a razor, if not sharper. I Love It!!!

Part of the rusting is my fault, probably put it in the dishwasher one too many times. So take this with a grain of salt! These are really impressive knives but from my experience, they are far from rust resistant. Within a month of use i saw rusting, both on the blade and the hammered parts of the knife. They all dulled much more quickly than anticipated which was frustrating. I bought them on sale so they were a pretty good product for the cost. One thing that was appreciated was having the types of knives labeled on the block. Ive had them for 11 months now and already need to get a new knife set. But because of the rusting, wearing of the blade in a short amount of time, and lack of dishwasher safeness (as someone who needs to just throw things in the dishwasher), i would not buy again :/

The most beautiful knife set EVER!

Wouldn’t recommend. They came and they’re not exactly sharp. Nearly cut myself on the chopping board due to bluntness of the knives. Upon arrival the stand it comes in had imprints like the knives had been in it already which says to me it was potentially used before?

I bought these knives to replace my plastic handled knives that are falling apart. They are heavier than my plastic handled knives but easy to use. They sharpen well with the included sharpening wand (with some practice). I found that I had to get the angle right when sharpening (from watching the video on this listing) and being sure not to go against the blade but over it. Also I have learned not to try and over-sharpen - to sharpen until just sharp or risk dulling the blade and having to start over again. I am careful not to soak these knives, just to hand wash them with a soapy cloth and then rinse and immediately dry them on a dish towel. They chop raw vegetables easily when sharp (sweet potatoes and carrots, etc.). These knives are extremely sharp when properly sharpened - be careful. Well made product and not too expensive.
