The shredder is perfect for small pieces of paper - approx. 4-1/4" wide by any length. It works well on addresses on envelopes, invoices & letters; the offers we get from credit card companies that include QR codes, "offer numbers" and even checks we can write (that refer back to us personally). The shredder is manual, not electric. You can only do one sheet at a time but it's quick and easy and has a very small footprint so it can sit on your desk. No obnoxious noise while shredding. No more hand cutting into small bits. No more blacking out with a smelly marker. Easy to remove the top and dump in the trash. You can also shred colored paper and use it to "stuff" a gift bag. It's great!

Not sure why people are complaining about this basic manual mini shredder. The name and design says it all so expecting it to do more is not logical.I took a chance on it and it's small and convenient. It's not the everyday bulky electric one. It's meant to save space and do small work. If you're just looking to shred mails and personal docs than this is all you need. Very affordable and does the job. If you don't shred papers every day, buying the electric one is a waste.Pros: small, affordable, save spaceCons: slit opening is smaller so you'll have to tear your papers to fit it. Only shred one paper at a time with ease. You can shred 2 but the rotating handle becomes harder to rotate and can possibly break if you do not turn it correctly. The top lid does slip off when rotating so you have to hold the lid down to rotate. For durability, idk how long it lasts but if you are gentle with it, I'm sure it can last a while.When you rotate, you have to follow the handle and don't tried to push it outwards because you can break the handle since it is plastic holding on by a small screw.Overall, it's convenient. It does the job and affordable for the small jobs.

Although it's not an electrical/automatic shredder, it gets the job done. It's nice and sturdy. You don't have to worry about noise, because it's very quiet, and you can shred paper as fast as your arms can handle it. Overall, it's a very inexpensive option for those that have a couple of sheets of paper/mail they want to shred, without investing a lot in an automatic shredder.

Fits perfectly in my little space, and works very well. The handle doesn't fit on snugly so it falls off if you tip it, but it slides right back on.

For anything more frequent or demanding, a sturdier shredder would be a better investment.

I can't escape pre-approved offers and other legit financial printouts which seem like real identity-theft risks if I just recycle them, but I don't have need or room for a full-size shredder. This is small, efficient, effective.

I ordered this to make a “worry shredder” for students I work with as a school counselor. It’s been a huge asset to my counseling office. I gave it 4 stars because the handle falls off a lot. Other than that it’s been great. Very cute and compact. Easy to use, compact and pretty colors.

This mini paper shredder cannot handle A4 paper unless it is folded or torn in half. While it easily shreds single sheets, it struggles with two half A4 pieces. If you need a shredder for letters or larger documents, consider other models. This one is best suited for small receipts.
