Great support and a great EDC
So I made this purchase last year and the replacement/return period has ended about 4 months ago as of Aug 14, 2025. I contact the seller about the blade losing the detent ball to keep the blade shut/lock in place when it's in the close position. With no blaming and no excuses, they kindly asked for an address and sent me a replacement free of charge. I received quickly within two days. Remette sets an example of how customer service should still be in 2025. As for the knive, it's a slim and fits in my cargo pants pocket well. The weight doesn't sag my pocket as much as other brands. This blade is my goto box cutter when cutting through thicker corrugated cardboard. It's relatively sharp and has longer edge retention than some of my other EDC. The thickness and length of the blade can be used to leverage cutting and prying thicker cardboard that has been glued with industrial adhesive. I find flicking the blade open is smooth and quite satisfying.

Surprisingly good!
I was skeptical about purchasing this off-brand knife, but for the price I figured it was at least worth checking it out. I was looking for a daily carry that may see some abuse and wouldn't be a costly loss if it didn't hold up. It's a little larger lengthwise than I tend to carry, but not unreasonably so. Immediately after taking it out of the package, I realized this was much more substantial than I assumed it would be. It has some weight to it, but it's comfortable in the hand because of its slender profile. The action of the flipper blade is fast and smooth, and the liner lock snaps easily and securely in to place. The blade has a very respectable edge from the factory, enough so that I may not sharpen it before putting it in to service as I feel the need to with most new knives I purchase. Overall impression? Well worth the price, and if it holds up to regular use it may replace several of my much more expensive blades for my edc choice. Pleasantly impressed!

Beautiful but not perfect
This product is by far one of the most affordable, but also Amazingly made products for and EDC person such as myself, the knife comes perfectly sharp and is also a great material that the blade is made out of. It is greatly satisfying to open and close the blade and is comfortable in your hands. The only problems I have had with it is including in the industry I work in where I use it quite frequently, is that the tip will bend over time, but that is after quite a bit of abuse but the clip to hold it to your pants pocket Ben’s easily and will be quite tedious. The one I had bought that I am reviewing on was my favorite knife that I have bought, on a medium budget is my favorite knife, but I sadly lost it while working because the clip that hold it to my pants was too bent up that it got caught on something and was lost to the point where I cannot acquire it. To anyone who is on a low to medium budget for a good every day carry knife. This is a great product to buy but keep in mind the information that I have told you and that I hope I have explained correctly so if you make the decision to buy this product, you will understand the small defect you may face with this product but you will be able to and love to use when you need it!

Very good value for the price
This is a lot of knife for the price: first off, it's D2 steel, I wouldn't expect this for just $29.71! It's PVD coated, so I'm not going to expect it to rust except on the blade edge itself. That will be easy enough to keep clean. Next, the blade flips very smoothly and is centered in the handle. I kept trying to see if I could get the blade to only partially open, but this flipper is so well engineered that the force needed to overcome the detent is the force needed to flip the blade smoothly open. Very good engineering. Lastly, the scales are G10 so I'm not going to worry about them falling apart, and the pocket clip is right at the end of the handle, so the entire knife is in your pocket. I'm going to buy more of these, because at this price, I can afford to have them scattered about in my car, my tool box, the garage, etc.

Good quality carry
I take it everywhere I go. I have it attached to the molle straps on the back of my EDC bag for quick access. It is scalpel sharp and the long length provides a comfortable purchase in my large hands. Fast opening, good quality and intimidating when deployed. Buy with confidence.

Nice Sharp Tanto Blade, Just Be Careful With It….
This is a very sharp EDC folding knife. The blade has a good length and it has a small-ish girth to it which is nice because it won’t feel like you have a 2x4 in your pocket. A warning though, if you’re one of those fellas that fidgets with something in their hand, this is not the thing to do that with. Due to the small handle profile, the handle’s distance away from the blade in the closed position is close, so if you grab it in the wrong way and begin fidgeting, it will cut your finger good. I would not wears this inside the waistband for better concealment. It’s a good looking folder, it deploys smoothly with a flick, and it is one heck of a good letter opener, hah! You just have to use this in the right way so you won’t get bit. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Not Exactly “Executive”
I was looking for a “gentlemen’s” daily carry similar to the CRKT CEO, Buck Cavalier, or Coast Founders Series. This Remette came up as a similar option. I liked the look and the tanto blade. In the end, it’s a much more substantial knife. Something you would carry in a cargo pocket in your work pants, but I can’t imagine carrying it while wearing a pair of dress slacks. It’s just too big. And it’s remarkably heavy. That being said, it is a solid, good-looking, well made knife. Great blade with a comfortable grip. It opens and closes easily enough. I haven’t used it too much yet, but I have every reason to believe it will be long lasting, especially with the rugged D2 blade and the durable handle material. It appears to be a good value. But, I have to emphasize there is nothing sleek about it. It will work well for a multi-purpose camping knife or a construction site carry. At 4.2 ounces, I can handle it in a pair of jeans or Carhartts, but nothing doing with pants that are lightweight. I am going to keep it. I don’t really need it and it doesn’t fit the purpose for which I thought I was buying it. But it’s a cool knife. Look long had hard if you think you are getting a slim, easy-to-carry knife — that’s not what this is.
