I used to use this perfume back in the late 90’s & its beautiful smell holds so many beautiful memories for me! I honestly thought it had been discontinued as I hadn’t seen it in shops. Until Christmas time came and I was buying a relative perfume in one of the large chain stores, and I saw it!! I asked the lady to spray it first as I wasn’t sure it would be the same, but yes it’s exactly the same!!! Anyone who knows me knows this was my signature scent for a very long time! I went to get a second bottle last week and they didn’t have any, they don’t order loads as not many still buy it. So I thought I’d try Amazon. It’s the real deal. Stays on all day. Just perfect scent. I’m so glad I’ve got my favourite back 🥰 Update- since writing this I have ordered a bigger bottle and wear it everyday. I get compliments on it all the time and some ladies recognise it & one lady said she wore it on her wedding day and thought it had been discontinued, she was delighted to find out she can still buy it! Others ask me what it is & where they can buy it. Its just a perfect all year round perfume! I’ll never understand why it lost its popularity? When I was young all my friends & relatives had a bottle of Lou Lou on their dressing table. Anyway I’m just happy I found it & can conveniently buy from Amazon knowing it’s not a copy. I can 100% recommend :) since leaving this review I have repurchased many times🤣

Have used this perfume for many years. The only one I get compliments on when I go out. My local store cannot get it any more and Boots a bit expensive. I wait until it is on offer on Amazon. Love it

Oooooh what a beautiful scent. When I purchased this CACHAREL LOU LOU EAU DE PARFUM I didn't know what to expect regarding the scent. This has really surprised me so much. The scent last all day and it makes a difference to the vanilla or a baked vanilla cake smell from most of these perfume that women are wearing which becomes sickly after smelling it for a while. CACHAREL LOU LOU is a must, I absolutely love this perfume and today I am buying another one again. Honestly I have been searching for a particula perfume for a long time and one that has the scent that last, and this is the one. Also there is a lot of concentrated oil in this perfume which is great as it last all day. Thank goodness I have this perfume as my number one choice, and I don't think I will wear any other perfume for now as I have been getting a lot of compliments' excuse me what perfume are you wearing, it smells really lovely on you. I carry the perfume in my hand bag and of course I take it out of my bag and show it to them. One sad thing is that CACHAREL LOU LOU does not have their brand name on the perfume bottle, honestly it would be a great idea as it could identify the perfume in the bottle. Très belle découverte avec ce parfum Cacharel Loulou, qui ne passe clairement pas inaperçu. C’est un parfum avec une vraie personnalité, plutôt intense et enveloppant, qui laisse un sillage marqué. Dès les premières notes, on sent quelque chose de chaud, poudré et légèrement sucré, avec un côté très vintage assumé. C’est un parfum qui évoque une ambiance sophistiquée, presque mystérieuse, et qui tient bien sur la peau comme sur les vêtements. La tenue est vraiment solide : quelques pulvérisations suffisent pour tenir une bonne partie de la journée. Le sillage est présent sans être forcément agressif, mais il faut aimer les parfums qui ont du caractère. C’est typiquement un parfum qui ne cherche pas à être discret : soit on adore son côté enveloppant et un peu rétro, soit il peut paraître trop intense selon les goûts. Un parfum iconique, sensuel et affirmé, parfait pour celles et ceux qui veulent une vraie signature olfactive. 🌸 Très bon choix pour un parfum de caractère, je recommande si on aime les fragrances puissantes et originales.

My mom passed away when I was young and this is the only perfume she ever wore! I bought it to see if I would still recognize the scent and realized I would recognize it ANYWHERE. It seriously smells so good and exactly as I remembered. Next I need to look for the tiny gem shaped sample bottle since she kept that on her vanity all the time!

Siempre me la compro es una olor intensa para amantes del perfume fuerte. Es pequeñito el fresquito,yo siempre reservo el último frasco en cada compra como símbolo de un buen perfume. Es el único perfume que sigue existiendo en el mercado después de los años 80.
