Good for keeping vinyl clean and not too expensive

The Big Fudge Vinyl Record Cleaner does exactly what it promises and has become a handy part of my record-cleaning routine. The stylus cleaner is particularly effective — a few gentle dips are all it takes to remove built-up dust, which is very reassuring for protecting both stylus and records. The carbon fibre brush is also easy to use and does a good job of lifting surface dust before playing, helping to reduce crackle and static. The only downside is the cleaning fluid bottle. Unfortunately, the squirty bottle leaked from the screw-top lid when used, and this ended up staining my oak record console. It’s something to be careful of and could definitely be improved with better sealing. Overall, it’s a very effective vinyl cleaning kit with great performance, slightly let down by the bottle design.

The cleaning kit is in a handy pouch so keeps everything safe. The velvet brush does a great job of cleaning dust off the vinyl, you also get a small hard brush to use to clean the velvet brush. The stylus gel is something I've never seen or used before, very simple to use, place the jar under the needle and lower the stylus into it 2-3 times, the gel is firm not as i thought it would be, the action of placing the stylus into the gel ensures any dust/ static is removed and it really does improve the sound. The one thing i was disappointed with was the liquid used to spray on the velvet brush to give the vinyl a deep clean, it's left my vinyl records looking cloudy and i can't seem to return it to looking shiny as it should be, maybe I'm doing something wrong but i don't think so. Instead of using the liquid i just use the velvet brush dry and it does a great job, the kit is quite expensive for what it is, would i recommend you buying this, yes i would, it does make a difference to the sound and the stylus gel will last years.

After a recent return to vinyl I started buying 2nd hand lps some of which sounded awful and a few actually unplayable , I thought I'd give this a try on the off chance it made a little difference but it's genuinely amazing at revitalising vinyl.

Does a fantastic job, my records come out super clean. And the needle had more dust on it than I even realised. Highly recommend

If you know how to properly use this kit it will work wonders and its easy to use. Pair with an anti-static brush and a microfiber towel, you'll have all you need to keep your records clean and shiny. Don't apply pressure with the pad or anti-static brush. Let the records do all the work and you just lightly hold the tools in place. Use the microfiber towel first, the felt or velvet pad next, and then the anti static brush last. You use the felt pad and anti-static brush as the record is playing, you set the tools on top lightly, if its distorting the sound youre putting too much pressure. Do this on both sides. The little brush is to clean the felt pad. The stylus gel is awesome too! Dunk your stylus once or twice its clean. Do this before playing your record. Doesn't require you to use the gel more than once per record as one time should be sufficient. Great value for everything you get! And this will not scratch your records as you are only supposed to holds these tools in place and not brush anything. If you're brushing, you're doing it wrong. Each item is built very well and the design is great, comfortable to use and nothing feels like it will break anytime soon. I highly recommend this kit to anyone that needs a cheap but reliable way to clean their things! I would recommend this kit over the other one too. The design feels better the the felt pad or brush is flat and covers the entire record as the other kit of theirs with the brown handle is more rounded.
