Has sufficient space for those things you’d like nearby, but it’s only useful for a single sleeper!
The tray is unlike most inexpensive trays, mainly because all the glue points holding it together are very well done. The (5 wooden) parts are attached in a way that screams that this company wants to have its products that not only look good, but also solidly constructed. I’m happy I found it and I use it in my bed. I keep the window air conditioner remote controls, VCR & TV remotes and my iPad in it, as well as my nail trimmers, aspirin, reading glasses, my wallet (I’m 81, having all life’s little necessities in one place is a no brainer) and my key chain that has all the keys related to my life! The tray is not too wide, not too big and not too tall and resides full time in my queen size bed.

Bargain for the price
I ordered this tray despite some negative feedback on the build quality - i.e., splits in the wood and the size not being accurately represented. Glad I did, as it is beautiful and in perfect shape. I bought this as a coffee table tray, but I could use it almost anywhere in my home. Nice size, detailing, sanded, and stained consistently. It's a dupe for Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware decor and a bargain for this price.

Being a spoiled carpenter’s daughter I can pick out some flaws. Overall for this price, I’m happy. It looks great in my tiny living room space. I would recommend. I changed it up a couple times for contrast. That always helps me when I’m reviewing.
