Bought this to use when caravanning and hiking. I’m quite tall (5”10) and a size 18 so was surprised this very lightweight chair supported me so well without feeling like it would give way! To put it up is a doddle; unwrap the fabric, give the poles a bit of a shake and they almost connect themselves. The fabric has 4 pockets in the corners to slot the poles into. Done! It has an elasticated pocket to hold essentials although not sure I’d put a mug in there, fine for a book/Kindle, phone etc. (You can buy a separate mug holder). It feels amazing to sit in, sort of ‘cups’ you, and the higher back also has a Velcro flap you can stuff a fleece or inflatable pillow into for even more comfort behind your head. Nowhere to rest your arms with this model except on your lap but that doesn’t bother me.Tip when re-folding, lay the poles in the SEAT part of the fabric after folding in the sides, and roll it up to the back - if you do it the other way it doesn’t seem to fit in the bag.Also bought the sand-mat to prevent chair sinking into soft ground, and the sun-shade, both well made and do the job perfectly.Yes it’s pricey for an ultralight, but it’s true you get what you pay for, this feels like it will last years. Pay out once and you’ll probably never have to replace this!A length of Velcro to wrap around the poles when you fold them up would be handy to keep in the bag - this could have been included really.Be aware this chair is VERY light despite its strength - a decent breeze will carry it off. If you attach some Paracord to a tent peg, this can then be looped around the base pole and pushed into the ground to stop your chair going walkies when you stand up. Or use your Velcro (see above) to attach the carry bag to the base pole and fill with something weighty like a few rocks.

As ultralight camp chairs go, this is the Rolls Royce, and its price reflects that. It's solidly constructed, with proper shock corded poles and reinforced areas on the seat that ooze quality. It's light (not the lightest that Helinox produce though) and packs down into its bag. I bought the ball feet for it, and it doesn't sink into the ground or sand at all. Assembly takes less than 30s, and taking it down about the same. It's pretty comfortable as well. Not as luxurious as a full size camp chair, but good enough for me at 6'2, 85kg, after a day on the motorbike. I also bought the cup holder, but doesn't pack in with the chair and frankly, it's a pain in the butt to pack so I hardly use it.

This is an excellent chair. Not cheap or outrageously light, but that's because it's a great deal sturdier than some of the cheaper types. A cracker of a purchase and very comfy too.

Toller Stuhl zum relaxen, sehr leicht und schnell auf und abgebaut. Der Stuhl ist sehr stabil und macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Der Sitzkomfort könnte besser sein, die Beinauflage schneidet bei längerem sitzen etwas in die Unterschenkel, was allerdings durch ein Kissen behoben werden kann.

Zuerst war ich etwas skeptisch, ob das filigrane Gestell mich, 110kg bei 183cm, aushalten würde. Aber ich wurde mehr als positiv überrascht. Der Stuhl wurde für Motorradtouren mit Zelt usw. gekauft. Dafür ist er perfekt geeignet. Der Sitzkomfort, auch durch die Querstrebe, ist sehr gut. Es drückt nichts.Schnell auf- und abgebaut, passt auch wieder problemlos in die Tasche, kleines Packmaß - was will man mehr auf Reisen. Aus meiner Sicht absolut empfehlenswert.

Ich bin 1,78 groß (männlich). 92 kg. Kein guter Sitzkomfort. Es schneidet am Oberschenkel auf den Innenseiten ein bei mir. Sitzfläche zu klein. Habe sonst noch den Chai One XL. Da passt alles. Wollte noch einen Stuhl mit höherer Lehne wie hier. Hab es zurückgeschickt.

This chair is lightweight, so allows it to be hauled around without extra weight. Comfortable for short periods of time. It is easy to assemble and break down and put it back in it's bag. I gave it 4 stars as it is expensive but if you have activities that warrant light weight then it is a balance.
