Great clear coat
Bought this to seal up some wooden planters I bought for tropical small trees. This sealant was easy to apply and stayed clear so the planters color was not affected. Fries fairly quick for adding a few layers of protection and overall was a good price with no complaints

A little messy to apply, but works well -- but doesn't bring wood to life
I was expecting something more the consistency of paint or some other wood finish, but this has the same viscosity as water. So it was a little sloppy to apply. It also doesn't really do anything to bring the wood to life. I used it on Doug Fir, and it looks very flat with none of the 'glow' you would expect to see on something that had just been refinished. On the plus side, it has stood up over the winter and the wood still looks good. It seems to have done a good job of waterproofing.

Easy To Use and Clean Up
What a great product! I cleaned my cedar fence and wanted to apply a sealer to keep the natural color vibrant. This is the first time I've used this product and I am so happy with the process. Time will tell about the longevity of it. I decided to use a paint roller and paint brush to apply. The product has a light scent that is not offensive and a consistency that is easy to apply. I could have used a sprayer, but it went on so easily and saturated the fence slats nicely, I just thought it might be a fuller coverage this way. Clean up was a breeze. I am going to look into the other products this company makes. so far, a big win!

perfect product. plenty of coverage for multiple door frames.
After looking at different reviews, seems like a great product. clear works best for natural look. plenty of coverage for multiple door frames. All the local stores were sold out. did not need a lot so a quart was perfect. Have plenty left over. Dries quick. Adds a water barrier to your wood or other finishes.

Not for Texas!
Been building and installing outdoor structures for over 25 years. Normally used treated lumber or natural cedar which I sand smooth and router a smooth edge on to avoid splinters. Normally encourage customer to accept natural weathered color but thought I would try something different. Bought this product to seal cedar beams on an fully exposed outdoor shade structure and two vertical posts that are under roof. Product lasted about 1 year with noted fading and loss of protection within 6 months. Used untinted version on exterior structure - full failure on horizontal and vertical members exposed to direct sunlight. Now the structure is mostly an "ashy" grey color like cedar normally fades to with exposure - NOT the rich vibrant natural wood that it started out as. I followed all instructions fully, applied two coats to parts in a covered building and then assembled on site. I added "cedar color" to vertical posts and they initally looked amazing but portions of post exposed to sunlight have faded to same grey color as other structure. Sanded down a second time, washed clean and vacuumed for reapplication - product is already fading after 4 months. I would consider this an INDOOR PRODUCT ONLY! It has not met the hype or justified it's costs and application of effort. This is nothing special.

This stuff is amazing. I got it for my screened in porch. Because my porch would get rain at certain areas. I wanted something on it that would make it bead and roll off. I asked my contractor to get me really good screen, but skimp on the wood and that’s the reason why I wanted something that’s really going to last. Thompson, you have to do every year this you don’t have to do but every six years it’s great stuff you roll it on. It looks like it’s gonna be milky and not be clear but it does become clear. It’s great. I love it. I’m not unhappy that I got it at all.
