Very sturdy and simple to assemble all holes line up as they should and it’s a perfect size both height and circumference unlikely to fall over : Very slight damage on arrival but not worth deducting any stars for it looks like happened when being made rather than in transit It is at a bargain price and a third cheaper than in Argos !! Highly recommended

Bought a couple of these coat stands for all of our back room where my partner keeps his coats. I was a little apprehensive when they arrived as they were in such small boxes; they are build your own kits really, which appear to be reasonably sturdy once assembled. The only problem really is each hook is only long enough for one coat, jacket or cap; hence the reason for purchasing two of them. They really don't look strong enough to hang heavy long winter coats that I wear; fortunately my partner only wears jackets, so not a problem hopefully. They seemed to be easy enough to assemble and look OK before he filled them up. The three feet base keeps them sturdy on the wood floor, and they don't appear to slide around.

After using this item for 2 months, it has already broken. The stand is not designed to handle large coats. I think the issue was as the stand was on tiled flooring so the base has no friction to keep the legs in place. As such one of the legs that screwed into the stand damaged the surrounding wood and now is unusable. After attempting a refund with the company, the will not offer a refund and instead I would get a £9 gesture of goodwill

The coat stand arrived with clear marks of having been damaged either in transit or by a previous purchaser. One of the crucial M5 connecting points had been damaged, with its screw in point into the wood ruined. This initially made it impossible to construct the coat stand. However, I had some strong superglue to hand and was able to fix this, and put it together. Once repaired the coat stand is actually secure and stable and no doubt will last quite a while. It can also hold quite a number of coats and is surprisingly well balanced so doesn’t fall over. Given its low price the quality is pretty much as expected. It does the job hence 3* but I wouldn’t buy another, put it that way!

This coat stand offers a trendy twist to the traditional one we had. It is sturdy and so easy to assemble (all parts screw in to each other) with no small hardware or complicated instructions. It is a great height and fit for our space and was definitely great value for money. It would also look great in any space with, or without coats!
