is the plug for the uk?(seen other listing saying it was for a US plug)

The product that I received had a US plug and was also for 120V, not suitable for UK. The item was returned.

Can it be used in uk? it has just arrived but it does not have a 3 pin uk electric plug and the box says it is 120 volts (in uk we are 230 volts)

It can't be used in the UK without an adapter for the plug. You will also need a transformer to change the power to 240V. A lot of hassle.
