Tastes great and gentle on stomach (see pics)
This is a great product as far as the 30 g of protein per scoop and 170 cal. I wish the calories were lower though and the scoop is pretty big, bigger than scoops from other protein solutions but the thing about this is I like the taste and I don’t have any lactose issues with this.I normally mix this with some type of milk, whether it be regular milk, oatmilk, almond milk, etc. It taste OK with water, but it tastes better with milk. There were 18.5 scoops I got out of this package. (See the tally marks in the picture)I have bought this exact product multiple times.Note: I’m not lifting weights right now. I’m using it for my hair. Protein is very good for the hair. So you can use this product even if you’re not working out.

All around good stuff
Mixes easy. Good taste, lends to leafy green smoothie well. All around does great. Haven't noticed any bloating from drinking this powder.

Enjoyable Recovery Powder
It dissolves very easily in ice water in a shaker cup. It is definitely the least sweet vanilla protein powder I've ever had, which is a total PLUS for me. It smells fine and tastes good. The only thing I don't like about it is the artificial flavors and maltodextrin. It does not upset my stomach and has positive effect on performance and recovery.

Fine, tastes a bit plain
Not my favorite vanilla flavor. It's not sweet enough (I know some people here say it's "too sweet") and tastes very plain. I need to mix it with a banana and/or honey.Chocolate is better from this brand, that works standalone.

You get what you pay for. Terrible aftertaste.
When I saw the price for this compared to other protein powders, and with good reviews, I was very excited. I go through protein powder pretty quickly and it can get pricey. I’ve tried a lot of different types of protein powders, including plant based, vegan, etc, and I’m pretty tolerant of most kinds and flavors. Yes some kinds are better mixed in with a smoothie than just plain with milk in a blender bottle. But this is ascertained to just mix with milk, and that’s what I usually do for breakfast. I got a little bit of the powder on my finger will putting it in the bottle that I licked off, and it tasted absolutely horrible, but as it’s not meant to be eaten plain, I wrote that off as my own fault and continued to mix it with milk in my blender bottle and shake it up. When drinking it, the first thing I noticed was how difficult I was to mix. It left all sorts of clumps that I don’t typically have issues with in other brands. The flavor was tolerable going down. But right afterwards, I immediately started having bad stomach cramping; then a good hour of burps that came with a horrid after taste. Like a literal dirt, earthy, just otherwise abhorrent taste. The exact same taste as when I licked it off my finger when I was making it. I have never had any of these symptoms happen with any other protein powder brand before, nor do I have allergies to anything, or have any history of any of these symptoms. I ended up just trying to eat anything I could that could possibly mask the flavor that kept being brought back up, but nothing I ate after seemed strong enough to overpower the terrible taste it left. There is a possibility the aftertaste wouldn’t be so bad if blended into a smoothie with several other ingredients other than just the powder and milk, as I did not try this kind that way, and I won’t be after this experience. But I can’t speak on whether its flavor would have the same effect if mixed with a smoothie. The other thing to note unrelated to taste; they don’t list the nutrition info online at all, and when comparing the nutrition label to some of my other protein powder bottles i had on hand, this brand does not have ANY fiber/dietary fiber in its ingredients like most other protein powders do.As for how well it worked as a protein powder itself, it made me want to curl up in bed until the pain subsided, it definitely did not give me energy or have me feeling healthy, or full, or awake, or satisfied, mostly just sick.So yes, it’s much cheaper than other brands, but there is a reason for that! And I am highly confused how this product has as many good reviews as it does. But in my opinion, do yourself a favor, and spend the extra money on a different protein powder! Right now, ‘Muscle Milk’ brand protein powder is the brand I’d recommend that’s my go to at the moment; as it has a low price point compared to most other brands, it tastes really good, and it keeps me full.
