Moisturizing Body Lotion, Dry & Sensitive Skin, 8.5 fl oz

If, like me, you're in such a rush to try this body lotion that you overlook the use instructions, be aware that it needs to be well shaken before use. I only recently received my order, and was apparently too eager to use it. Even though I neglected to shake it before the first application, it still absorbed fairly quickly, but left a slight oily sheen and residue. The next time I used it I shook it well, and the difference was amazing. It absorbed almost instantly (no aerobics required to massage it in), and with no oiliness at all. My mother, who's 70, has tried it as well, and she says it makes her skin look and feel amazing. I'd been looking for a body lotion that was more like a serum, but would provide good moisture and hydration, and this lotion is exactly what I was hoping for but never expected to find. It doesn't leave a sticky/oily film, and doesn't transfer to clothing. As others have commented, it's a very thin, serum-like liquid, but moisturizes and hydrates quickly and very effectively. I'll have to wait until winter weather arrives to see how well it deals with skin that gets a bit drier due to indoor heating, but so far, after applying this lotion on a warm, early-fall day, my skin looks and feels smooth, supple and well moisturized. I was hoping the lotion would have the same lovely fragrance as the plain Bio-Oil, but there's no discernible scent, which many users may prefer. BUT! As other commenters have mentioned, because this product is more liquid-like than lotion, it comes out of the bottle quickly, even though the hole in the top is very small. My mother and I both love the lotion so far, but the bottle is screaming out for a pump dispenser. I hope that those responsible for packaging decisions at Bio-Oil will read user reviews of this otherwise great product, and provide a pump going forward. I'm going to see if a pump from other products I have will fit this bottle. So: great lightweight but effective moisturizing/hydrating formula, but desperately needs a better, less messy and wasteful means of dispensing.

Hmmm… idk what to think about this product but it’s sorcery! I love a good moisturizing lotion and I love my butters with petroleum and thickness. This is the complete opposite of that. I absolutely love the oil, so I was excited to try the lotion. Even after reading the reviews, I wasn’t expecting the lotion to be this watery. But, wow, I applied just a little bit on my hands and it perfectly moisturized my hands with no residue or left behind excess product. This stuff is amazing! There’s no scent, fragrance or dyes. Seems to do just what it says. I made sure I shook it up before application. My only gripe is that it’s pricey for such a small bottle. I’m really not sure how much to use. I used a small amount on my hands, but I feel that I would automatically use too much on my body…that’s if I were to even use this on my entire body. I don’t have allergies or skin sensitivity so this wouldn’t be my go to lotion at such a steep price and small bottle. I wouldn’t use it on my newborn for sure and I am gate keeping this product from my son and fiancé because I know they would use entirely too much of it. Maybe I’d use it on my feet so that they wouldn’t be slippery in heels and still be moisturized. Overall, it’s a great product. I would recommend it for those that have sensitive skin; however there are other products and brands that offer the same benefits that do have more thickness to them. I’m glad I have this product on hand, but I’m not sure how much I’ll actually use it. I use the Bio Oil pretty consistently and will probably just use to pair with that. I gave it 5 stars for its functionality, absorbency, and actually working very well. I am impressed with this lotion.

As other reviewers have stated, it is a little runny and seems like it would not do the job, but it does. I like to apply it right out of the shower when my skin is still a bit damp and it absorbs perfectly and keeps my skin hydrated and soft. I love that it's pretty much fragrance-free as I am very sensitive to smells.

This works well but is very messy when pouring it into your hand to rub on your body. It is slightly greasy but is good for sensitive skin. I’d like to suggest they put this in a squirt bottle to easier application. It really doesn’t have a scent which is good!

I love this lotion! I almost took off a star because it is SO thin that it can be difficult to apply. That said, it applies like water and absorbs like water but feels like silk! Don't expect the usual creamy coating feeling after using this. Expect soft, smooth skin and don't worry about it getting on your sheets or pants or sleeves, etc. I'm a senior with dry-ish crepe-y skin and it has done well for me during the winter. I expect it to be really great in the summer, when I still need moisture but don't want to feel anything heavy or thick on my skin. Also, it has no smell or scent or any off-putting chemical odor. This will be my go-to from now on.

20/10 super lightweight, the glow the lotion leaves on the skin is amazing. great size for the price. It doesn’t really have a scent to me, I️ will be adding this to my list to rebuy again. very soothing, moisturizing & easy to apply.

I have multiple bio oil products but this one wasn’t it like the others .. great price and light applications but somehow it still felt odd like there was an ingredient added or missing from it. It’s watery so it’s not like oil or like lotion so it felt like it was always too little or too much with every pour.

I am in love with this body lotion. It is easy to apply. My skin drinks it in. It leaves my skin soft and hydrated when I apply it after a shower. The size of the bottle is a decent amount. The ingredients are clean. There is no greasy feeling whatsoever. It is my favorite body lotion. I think I have finally found a terrific product. I will purchase it again and again!

The item is amazing, but it was delivered without being kept in a cold place, and it arrived very hot. I’m not sure if it’s still in good condition.

I couldn’t find this product finally it was back I purchased twice! Very very good product for smoothing & softening your body’s dry skin after shower! Best I’ve found in market!

Lightweight, unscented, non-oily and super hydrating. My skin loves this! Far superior to "drug store" moisturizers/lotions/body oils. Worth every penny - my ultra-thirsty skin was immediately quenched and stayed that way, without feeling greasy, all day.

smells very odd and applies nicely but i find i sweat more with this on

I'm a fan of Bio Oil, so I thought I would try this out too. I read a review where thry suggested putting it in a spray bottle to use. This is a great tip! It is pretty fluid and when I poured into my hands it would run through my fingers. The spray bottle is perfect for no waste! Also! There is no scent which was nice too.
