I just started taking Lacto after doing some research. It works. Normally I would feel discomfort after ingesting dairy and the next day would feel sluggish. Since I’ve started taking Lacto before or during or right after a meal I have no discomfort. I do feel that it’s expensive, but it’s worth for the occasions when I eat dairy.

This product far surpasses the better-known alternative! My lactose intolerance has become far more severe as I've aged causing great distress. The Lacto pills have reduced the number of unpleasant incidences to zero! The other product was not at all effective any more.

I’ve been taking lactaid pills for YEARS and when I say this works even better, I’m flabbergasted!! I will never take another type of lactose pills—these are LIFE CHANGING and I’ve never felt better! I can eat ice cream without dying for 3 days! 1 mighty pill per dairy meal is seriously so strong and powerful and I’m so thankful for these!!!!!!

About 2 months ago I started taking these whenever I was going to eat dairy. They worked great for gas and bloating but I did have to take several to manage those symptoms. Be careful if you've ever had gastritis because one of the enzymes in this breaks down the protective stomach lining over time and I started having very uncomfortable sharp pains as long as they were in my stomach.

Recently, I went on vacation and realized I’d forgotten my Lactaid. We had a busy schedule and I resorted to placing a grocery order with Whole Foods for our vacation rental, and Lacto was the only thing they had. Wow! Game changer! While Lactaid helps cut down on the effects of eating lactose (bloat, gas, discomfort, etc), it never made a huge impact and I’ve religiously avoided dairy because of it. However, I knew on vacation I would need to indulge a bit. After two small trial runs with that Lacto, I took two of the pills with a 10 inch pizza (and followed it with Gas X, just to be sure) and felt great! Because I rarely eat this way, I still felt slightly bloated (more like just being pretty full) but was otherwise totally fine. I am VERY sensitive to lactose and other foods as well, and Lacto honestly feels like a little blessing. In fact, I believe I may also have other issues, beyond lactose, with dairy now and Lacto will be go to!

I love LACTO! I am allergic to Dairy, but going Dairy free is hard when it’s in so many things you love to eat. So I keep it in my purse for when I am spontaneously confronted with a delicious irresistible cheese filled dish. It took me 30yrs to figure out Dairy was causing my Horrendous Acne Breakouts and Lacto has helped me get it under control. I can hardly believe how simple and effective it is, but it works. I take two right when I’m getting ready to indulge. It took me a while to get into the habit of thinking of taking it before a meal, but it’s now my routine and I am so happy for it. I thought I was lactose intolerant, because eating dairy had become very painful. Unbelievable cramps and gas. I tried Lactase and found that it worked for a while, but eventually, all the pain and gas came back, so I thought I'd have to give up all dairy. Over years, my gastroenterologist has been trying to figure out what I have, and he was amazed when, after taking Lacto, I could eat dairy. The reason is that I'm not just lactose intolerant. I have no idea which milk sugars I can handle, and I'm not sure it's possible to find out, but - the front of the Lacto bottle talks about relief for lactose and casein. The back of the bottle shows that besides lactase, it has 8 other enzymes to be able to break down any and all dairy. For those who say it doesn't work, I wonder if you are not taking enough, or maybe not at the right time - if I ate cheese without taking Lacto, my pain would start within minutes. I take a dose that fits what I'm eating and I take it immediately before I start eating. Yes, it's expensive, and would be expensive if one pill was all I took each time I eat something that has dairy in it. I take up to 5, depending on what and how much dairy is in a meal. And if I take 4 when I have a cream soup, I take 5 more when I'm about to eat ice cream even if it's within the same meal. For me, horrendously expensive as it is, it's such a big relief that it is really worth it.
