If you are looking for a “fuse” or breaker, this is THE one that you want. I have looked at every available option in a car audio installation, and these breakers work so much better than an inline fuse. First, if the fuse blows, no need to have to get another one. The breaker is just tripped. Also, and more importantly, it gives the ability to “switch” off the power, or open the connection. Makes it easy to work on components by flipping the switch, then turning back on by just clipping it back in. Easy. For those that bought the 250 amp like I did, that one doesn’t come with a switch. But get one that has an onboard switch that makes it easy to open the connection. Is a lifesaver. Also, best point about THIS one over any other one is the 3/8” lug connection. Way beefier and more contact surface to flow the energy across to what you need. Everything else is 1/4” or 5/16”, so this is the king of connection at 3/8”. Stop looking around. This is what you want. Trust me.

I just returned a breaker from RedWolf that broke while I was installing it. It was cheaply made and that was obvious from taking it out of the package. This one is the exact opposite. Upon first removing it from the box, you can feel the weight of it, and then upon pressing the button to kick the breaker out, and then resetting it, you can feel that this breaker is very well made and very solid. I haven't installed it yet, but I doubt I will have any problems. If I do however, then I will update this review.

Works well, solid build quality. 3/8" studs for large terminals are nice. I'd like to add waterproof cover but not sure it's needed.

Nice safety device for your battery and a convenient shut off.

Holding up well after 3 weeks of use and intermittent loads of 187 amps at 13.5vdc - very happy with this.

This is my second 200a unit! My first one has been used for over a year! So I bought the second unit. Highly Recommended! I have 2 300a units in use for over 2.5 years!!!!

Hopefully it will open when it should. Seems to be better quality than many of the alternatives

I'm running 2 of these on my solar install setup (off grid), and they work perfectly. No issues with tripping when they should not and they do handle a lot of current on my 48 volt battery bank. I purchased cheaper ones before and was not happy at all they would heat up, and such under load. These ones get a little warm but nothing scary. Buy quality when it comes to these!

Unfortunately I can't see the positives that I read in the reviews. I have it connected to a 48V battery and it usually draws or charges at 75A continuous, but it could theoretically reach 100A maximum. It becomes so hot during these times that I don't expect it could handle 200A for extended periods of time.
