Bought these plates in an effort to be less fat. Hopefully that will stop the constant offers of Fat Club referrals for totally unrelated health problems. These salad plates are actually the size of a normal dinner plate prior to the imported super-size everything trend. Apparently, a full, smaller plate tricks the mind and body into feeling more satisfied with a lesser meal. Lost another 3lb over Christmas despite my addiction to chocolate and mince pies, so I am living testament to this easy gullibility of mind and body. The plates themselves are great. Thick and sturdy. A good, effective lip around the edge to prevent sauce, pea or gravy escape. A modern, stylish design. Properly white. Survived regular washing up bowl Jenga with no chips or cracks. Came carefully packaged with cushioning between each plate to keep them all comfy and in one piece. Not the cheapest, but a lot cheaper than even a week's worth of overpriced Fat Club ready meals. I consider these a wise long term investment in something to eat less food off without my brain or stomach actually noticing.

This was exactly what I was looking for for dessert /side plates for a recent event. These were simply, light in weight and stylish and value for money. They arrived packaged really well with lots of wrap and cardboard which you can reuse each time you take them out of storage if not using every day. You can dress up with chargers, cutlery options and glasses. A really good buy.

Good quality but very large. Easy to clean and looks good on the table.. quite heavy plate but overall ok

they are an ideal size for people that don,t eat big meals,.I would recommend them for older people or with health problems,with the slightly higher sides. we are so pleased with them.

These were delivered promptly (next day). Very well packed in a sturdy box, each one in bubble wrap and divided with cardboard spacers. Took me some time to get them out of the box! My crockery is white and the plates were the exact shade, so matched well. They were in perfect condition, not a mark or glazing fault in sight. Very pleased with them, exactly as advertised. Having read a review that mentioned the plates broke in the dishwasher, I was a bit wary. But I put them in with the half load already there and they came out sparkling clean, with no damage at all. These slightly smaller than average plates (9in instead of 10 and a half) are ideal for those like me, who aren't very good at portion control, they also have a nice lip to the edge which helps to contain the food. Highly recommended.

Plates arrived well packaged, individually wrapped. Look to be of good quality. Pleased with this purchase.

Ho comprato questi piatti perchè sono proprio " piatti , piatti " con un bordo rialzato ,molto comodi per servire fette di torta o altri dolci perchè è più facile raccogliere il cibo con il cucchiaino o la forchettina da dolce senza rincorrere la fetta come succede con i piattini normali da dolce.
