Lovely machine. Slightly smaller than anything else I could find for the price. Fits on my window sill. 24 degrees c drops to about 18 in 3 hours but drops 2 degrees in the first hour no matter the temperature. Quite pokey will cool a big bedroom but use your noggen it’s 3000 btus. It’s also slightly quieter than your average machine. Does cost a lot to run. Approx 8p an hour on low mode and 14 p on higher speed mode. I hope this helps with making a purchase.

Very easy to set up and use, does a really good job of cooling down the room in a short period of time. There is noise but I would say no more than any other unit and a small price to pay for the cooling effect. Only real comment is that the window kit is for sash windows so if you have standard UK windows you will need to buy a kit but absolutely worth it

Doesn't Get cold

I purchased this for a friend of mine who lives in the UK and she has only used it for one night but said it works great for one room. It was very affordable.

I've had this for 2 months now and I've had a chance to use it a few times. Unfortunately, the unit is barely able to cool down a corner of the room. It fails to cool down the rest of the room beyond that one corner. It doesn't help that I'm using this in an attic apartment, but I can see the unit is just not that powerful period. I lived for over a decade in the far east so I know a thing or two about a decent AC unit.My smart meter only registers a 500W power draw when this unit is active (in cooling mode), so either my unit is defective or the advertised wattage is incorrect. This is good for a lower power bill, but it also means the unit is not as advertised and cannot cool down anything larger than a small bedroom. I would not recommend if you intend to use this in a larger bedroom or a lounge/studio sized room.A bit noisy but within the normal range for portable AC.

Arrived unannounced from Amazon as unable to track delivery but did arrive on the day promised. Unboxed and left to settle for 24hrs .Instructions easily followed , assembled exhaust hose, fitted window kit into a double glazed side hung window not perfect but affective. Once the unit had been up and running for a while the room temperature had dropped and was now comfortable . This unit though compact is very efficient for its size, well worth the money.
