Formula 707 Calming Supplement for Horses, 10 lb, 80 Servings – Focus Aid

About eight months ago, I purchased a feral 6-7yr old Arabian mare. From day one, it was clear she was incredibly reactive and fearful. Even after months of consistent handling, training, and patience, she remained on high alert. This mare would spook at things she had seen hundreds of times. If she felt cornered, she would jump fences didn’t matter if it hurt her or not. If the leaves of a tree moved too much, she'd bolt and drag you with her. This Mare has hurt herself more than once trying to get away from things that aren’t new. Getting her feet done required dorm gel, and even then, she'd sometimes run over you or try to fall over on you out of fear of being touched. She was not a horse you could simply walk up to and halter or pet. Catching her meant getting her into a round pen and spending 5–10 minutes just earning her trust enough to approach. She’s extremely sensitive, not food-motivated, and everything has always taken an enormous amount of time and effort. I tried everything to help her adjust to domestic life, but nothing seemed to make a lasting difference, until this product. Within a week, I noticed a remarkable change. She became noticeably calmer and more approachable. For the first time, I could pet her without needing to corner or catch her. Her overall demeanor has improved dramatically. She no longer feels like she’s in constant fight-or-flight mode. She actually comes up to eat and doesn’t run away at the slightest movement. I got to the point where I thought that this Mare‘s only option was to be a sold or given to someone to be a pasture ornament. And that has completely changed. This mare was ulcer-prone and struggled to gain weight, even after being treated. Her nerves were simply too much. But this product has truly made her life, and mine ten times easier. I was skeptical at first, but I'm so glad I gave it a try. One small downside: she’s very picky and sometimes hesitant to eat it, so I mix it with her regular grain to make sure she finishes it. But considering the results, that’s a small price to pay. If you're dealing with a nervous, high-strung horse, I can’t recommend this enough. I tried to add a video of how she used to react and then how I went up to her and pet her in the field with no problem, but Amazon was having issues or something. So I just added a picture for tax.

I HIGHLY recommend this product and the other 707 product. We started our horses on this as suggested on the bag and we have had NO flies or fly issues in or around the house or property. The horses are much more happier, less irritated and along with fly oil, we finally have the issue under control and couldn't me happier. We use the Calming 707 on one of our horses that is hyper sensitive to touch and sounds of even something as small as a fly which caused him to spook, since giving him the calming meds we are able to gently pet him and approach him without him spooking.

707 Calming Pellets have been an absolute life saver for our mare. We give her a scoop twice daily, and noticed a difference within days of starting her on it. Before 707 she was extremely buddy sour. She could not stand to be in her stall when other mares were out in the pasture and would kick at her stall all hours of the night and call and pace constantly. Now she’s still aware and alert, but not on edge all the time. She will still let you know if her dinner is late and her sassy personality hasn’t budged, but she’s more relaxed and able to focus when it’s time to ride.

This has made all the difference for my new horse. He is a worrier, if you know what I mean. Since we've been giving this, he's calmed down a lot. Not to the point of being sluggish, but it's taken the edge off basic things, like standing in the cross ties.

While I cant say that this formula will calm down a very high anxiety horse, my experience is that it does level out some cranky behavior in my mare. Less ear pinning at her pasture mate and at the dog. She seems to pay better attention on the trails and when I am schooling her. I think if you don't expect miracles out of Formula 707, you will see some results.

I have a white blue eyed mare, large! she’s now 12 had her since rescued as a baby. She is EXTREMELY smart. Edgy, as she sees everything and is curious, head strong! I bought this to hopefully take the edge off her anxiety and it works! She’s good with the farrier now which is key as I’m 87! Sadly she hasn’t had much training but it is what it is. Shes also one very big girl! This stuff is great

Not working on my horse. Actually has made him worse, after continuing double dose for 7+ days. Now after seeing MAGNESIUM main ingredient- no brainer- not ideal. I'm lucky I didn't give him diarrhea! Worthless.

Helps my spooky horse
