To quote the manual "In the event that you leave the amp on after use and the battery keeps discharging, the battery may over-discharge, causing the safety protection circuit to activate. The battery cannot recharge in this case." I tried, "Try unplugging and plugging the adaptor into the DC IN jack several times." again, as per the manual, 20 times, no joy, still dead. I'm thinking that I should have bought Duracells. When I plug it in, 2 LED flashes, then dead. When I unplug it, 1 LED flash after 2 seconds then dead. Unplugged and then plugged in again, quickly, BEFORE the single flash...it started charging. £99 battery...relief!. I really struggle to believe that this design got through any kind of project review, at any stage. Yeah, it works as a battery. It lasts quite a long time. If I forget to turn the amp off next time, will it still recover? I have a bit of Roland/Boss kit. I had an unqualified high opinion of Roland/Boss up until this point. If you never, ever, forget to turn your gear off, this is for you.. If your battery won't charge, I hope that this works for you.

This is a clear step up from operating your Roland Cube (mine’s an AC33) with regular batteries or trying to source AC mains, especially outdoors. Looking very neat, it attaches in place of the battery tray supplied with the amp and can be charged in situ, although the amp may not be used when charging. This battery pack delivers sufficient power to enable the amp to produce almost the same output as when using AC mains, which is a big bonus. It also obviates the need to fiddle around with the adapter and eliminates the need for a long extension cord on gigs. Overall, my calculations suggest that in the long run this is more economic than using regular cells, although for me the sheer convenience makes this a must have accessory.

Battery pack fails to take any charge from the standard Cube Street EX PSU. Minimal user documentation provided. Unsatisfactory returns policy requires me to travel to nearest sorting office, 30 minutes away.

Excellent facility for my Roland AC-30 amp. A bit expensive for what it is - but appears to be very good quality.

Great idea it would save messing about with batteries. But it is very overpriced. At the end of the day it is just a power bank.

I’ve had two now , both have not worked despite following the trouble shooting procedures to the T I thought I’d cracked it but went in to play live and it went dead after 5 seconds. The second battery lasted 1 hour It took 50 to 60 pluging in and plugging outs to get them to even charge and then they would charge the around 10 mins and then stop charging These things are hit or miss If you like to gamble ; buy this battery

These work fine but it is best removed when not used. They're pretty expensive for what they are. If it does go completely flat try putting a small DC voltage from another battery across the contacts of the battery pack. Give it a few seconds to equalise the voltage then if you're lucky it will then charge. Managed to save mine luckily. Big loss at £100 if you can't. I contacted Boss and they had not heard of this at the time. No plans for a lithium battery version at the time, this being Nimh.

I bought this because a lot of sources recommend it. More power and charge time than using AA batteries, which HAVE to be the high capacity type (more expensive that common ones). In the long term, it's cheaper to use this. You could maybe keep the cassette with AA batteries as a back up.

Accu defekt , wurde lt. Herstellungsdatum ( bei Lagerung ) vermutlich jahrelang nicht aufgeladen und dann als neu verkauft ...... super, bei dem am 23.12.24 gekauften dasselbe Theater .... auch schon defekt ( Herstellungsdatum Jan. 2022, also auch ein fast 3 Jahre alter Accu ) Das Problem wurde vom Amazon Kundendienst positiv erledigt

THIS EXPENSIVE BATTERY DOES NOT CHARGE...ORDERED A REPLACEMENT HOPING THAT ROLAND HAS FIXED THIS DEFECT ASMANY, MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN AFFECTED IF YOU READ THE REVIEWS ON THE INTERNET. WITHIN WEEKS I HOPE TO HAVE A WORKING RE-CHARGEABLE FOR MY AC33. VERY UNHAPPY.

他レビューでもたくさん書いていますが充電できません。 開封しアンプ本体のアダプターをDC INに差し込むとCHARGEが数回オレンジ点滅したのちに消灯。FAILも消えたまま。もちろん充電できていません。 説明書のお問い合わせの窓口であるローランド公式で質問しようとしても製品登録ができないと質問ができないようで、製品登録はプルダウンから型式を選ぶようになっているのですがリストにBTY-NIMH/Aがなし。登録できないので質問もできないのでサポートも受けられません。そのほかのサポート問い合わせの方法は見つけられませんでした。 まさかメーカーバッテリーでこんなことがあるとは。購入する前にレビューを見るべきでした。。。

À la réception de la batterie, impossible de la charger. J’ai trouvé différentes solutions dans les commentaires pour résoudre le problème, mais rien n’y fait. Garder le moral et faites-vous des ampoules aux doigts 🙁. Brancher débrancher avant le clignotement du dernier témoin, lumineux, comme indiqué dans les commentaires mais toujours rien. J’ai branché et débranché une centaine de fois avant que quelque chose se passe. Hourra, ma patience a eu du bon malgré un énervement certain, mais la batterie est chargée. Étonnant comme conception pour Roland. J’ai toujours fait confiance en cette marque excellente et j’ai plusieurs produits provenant de chez eux, jamais aucun soucis. Mais là c’est vraiment une petite prise de tête avec cette batterie rechargeable, mais finalement ça fonctionne.😜

Haven’t used it for several months and I find it not working now, same to other users. I tried plug and unplug it more than 30 times, still not working
