I think this items has good points and bad. Firstly, DO TAKE THE TIME TO PRACTICE WITH THIS ITEM. If you save it for a time you really need it, you may end up causing damage to hands, tyres, rims or inner tubes. Having said that, once you have practiced, it is a great tool. One single device rather than 2 or 3 tyre levers is a great bonus in itself for all obvious reasons. Removing the tyre is more effective than replacing: let me explain. Removing chunky tyres a doddle. Removing tighter race tyres, a bit of a struggle but straightforward. Replacing chunky tyres, easier but be careful not to snag any inner tubes, Replacing tighter race tyres - be careful, it can be very easy to tear the inner tube if it gets caught as you slide the TG back around rim to replace tyre (don’t forget to use body weight to move the TG around rather than brute strength). HOWEVER, I found if you get most of the tyre back on to rim, instead of sliding the TG around the rim to replace tyre, it was much easier to do the method required to remove the tyre - but IN REVERSE. Don’t get me wrong, a lot depends on the tyre and rim type but if you worry about tearing/snagging the inner tubes, then try this method and it places tyre back onto rim with ease! Overall, it’s a great tool. Handle it with care, get the practice in, and, it will do exactly what it says (on the tin 😜).

Excellent product to change your bike tyre, quick and easy to use

It's a bit fiddly to seat but once its in and you get the angle right its pretty effective. Feels solid and good value for money, I get the feeling that it won't be easy to break. I've broken loads of levers over the years so this is an upgrade but...I find im using a traditional lever to get under the tyre in the first instance to lift and then hook the tyre glider in, which kind of defeats the object maybe? Definitely handy to have but I'll keep a traditional lever with me just in case.

I had to study the video carefully to find out what part of the glider was going in what part of the bike tyre but once I grasped the removal mode and installation mode I managed to do a half decent job first try. For reference I use marathon Schwabie tyres. Normally tough to get on and off. Initially I thought the rim of the bike was just too thick for this device, but then I realised to hook it onto the rim when you install a tire, you have to lean it over Towards the centre of the tire rim – at this point tire and inner tube pressure is very low – and then having lent it over and clipped it on the rim,you lean it back again and he Presto it is hooked onto the rim. The hooking part of this device actually does need to be too thick to place straight down on the rim Otherwise it would come off as you install the tire hence it is very important to lean it into the centre of the tire hook it on then pull it back again and then sticksThe second time I used it it was very quick and I managed it perfectly. There is a little bit of learning How to use this, but once you’ve got the knack it makes removing and reinstalling a tire incredibly easy and quick, even the tough to get on tyres. . Every cycling enthusiast should have one of these. A bit of a genius invention.

What a great gadget so affective and small enough to carry in the back pocket.

Looks like it will work well for the right wheels and tyres. I had a problem with a very tight tyre on a steel rim that became just too stiff to move before it reached the 'fully on' position.

I recently replaced the inner tubes on my MTB, and had a nightmare getting the tyres off and on again using the traditional method. Although sceptical about how a ‘piece of plastic’ would help, I decided to give it a go after getting a flat. And my word, it really does work! The device isn’t cheap, considering what it’s made from, but it’s definitely worth every penny. A task that previously took 30 mins +, took under 10 mins with the Tyre Glider. Highly recommended (but be sure to watch the online tutorials to ensure you use the correct technique).

I had to find another way of removing my tight tyre as I was caught in a 200km Audax with my tyre not easily coming off in 5C weather. I've got Merida with Merida Expert SLII wheels and a GP5000 TLR S 700x32c tyres. Even with this it wasn't easy, I'm not convinced that it worked better for this combination. It should be noted that the tyre was in the centre of the rim to get most tyre flexibility. However, for my other wheel, Hunt Aero Light wheel set with Pirelli Zero road 700x28c, it worked rapidly and effortlessly as the advertising videos show. Overall, the tool is expensive but I would say it is worth it if you're not confident with tyre levers. Especially as it will not pinch the tube when reinstalling. It is quicker with my hunt wheels, but I just want to warn if your wheels are really tight this might not work.

Quick delivery and very easy to use

Essa ferramenta realmente funciona muito, muito bem; tal qual demonstrado no vídeo explicativo (tem no youtube). É um pouco cara (devido aos impostos tb), mas o plástico e a construção são de muita qualidade.

I watched the videos on youtube and found this to be a great product that is easy to use for both removal and installation of tight tires on rims. It is light and strong and works really well.

I was able to fit an impossible tire with it (Pirelli Pzero Race TLR 4s), but the hook for fitting the tire broke on the second use. it's still the only tool that manage to do the job. I tried before with tire levers and tire pliers
