Does this work well on 5-7 mil mylar bags?

Works great on the 5 that I have been using. Seals well and stays sealed. NOTE: It is a sealer only and not vacuum.

does this work for straws?

Hi Kerry So sorry for you, this machine don't suitable for the straw's material. It's better for the PP, PE, foil bags. Thanks!

Can this item be used with polyolefin bags?

Not sure wht a pllyfin bag is but I do know it works with mylar bags. For give the spelling
