First, this machine never worked. It didn't even cool *at all*. I let it go for a looooooong time. It huffed and puffed, but in the end I just ended up with unsettlingly temperate heavy cream mixture. However, I never would've purchased this had I known there was no removable compartment for the ice cream. It's such an oversight and truly terrible design. The machine itself can't get wet; there are vents for air at the base. But the place where the ice cream gets gross and sticky. So I guess the plan is to awkwardly clean it with wipes or hope you don't use too much water and splash the machine and break it. That is, if by chance you happen to receive a model that works and isn't broken already.

Love it! Made ice cream and sorbet with my kids. So fun! It worked well and there is no need for ice and salt. Saves so much mess!

I really wasn't that thrilled it makes 1 cup of ice cream in a machine that's impossible to clean

Got one from prime day 2022 in July, use twice and it broke down, got replaced with another one, use twice and it breaks down again in a little over one month, now cannot return. Don't buy.

Very pleased with this machine. Now I can make ice cream for my large dogs any time.

The item is well built and looks easy to use. ice cream looks good.
