Amazingly good!
I have used several sparkling wine preservers, including expensive ones with gas canisters, and these work as well. There may be a slight difference, but it's not perceptible. I wouldn't use this on your Cristal. I wouldn't leave it for a week. However, if you have a nice bottle of Cava, and you don't want to drink it all, this stopper works a treat. BTW it is NOT a vacuum pump. Why would you want that? It pumps room air into the void to maintain the sparkle. Significantly, for me, is the fact that there are no consumables - and those gas canisters are not cheap!

These things are amazing
These things are amazing, they pump air into the champagne bottle. Most pumps suck air out, or simply prevent air from entering or leaving. Keeps sparkling wine fresh much longer. I can now drink two bottles at once by myself over the course of a week plus. Before I needed to drink one bottle at a time in 2-3 days max. Beware, when you open the bottle the second time it will pop with as much force as when it was first uncorked, so have a tight grip and don't aim it at anyone's face. Wish they would make a higher end metal version. After constant use, broke one out of three after 7 months, when the top ring cracked and it no longer held pressure. For $5 per I'll accept that longevity. Plus I always pump them to the limit. Totally liquid proof with champagne bottle lying on its side in the freezer no leaks, and no stopper ever popped off on its own no matter how roughly I treated a nearly full and highly pressurized bottle.

If I could give it six stars I would!
Amazing โ if I could give it six stars I would. I donโt say that very often. My wife loves bubbly but we donโt drink much of it because the second day itโs flat and tasteless. Years ago we had a pumper that worked, sort of, but over time it wore out. With Christmas coming I went to Total Wine and asked what they had, to preserve bubbly - they said nothing. This shocked me. So I really dug in and looked at everything on Amazon, this one rose to the top. And it works incredibly well (so far) โ Iโve used it with four bottles in the first month. You press it down securely then fit the โwingsโ over the bottle until they CLICK - it's very audible, you know when it clicks. Then you pump it up โ which is really easy, doesn't take alot of strength. When the bottle is ยพ full I pump about 30-40 times, half full 50-60 times, and so on. A day or two later (keep it in the fridge) you pull the wings off carefully so it doesnโt accidentally pop up into your face (a problem with any champagne bottle) and then lift gently. It doesnโt just make a nice pop, it makes a gentle explosion, like opening a bottle for the first time! It holds serious pressure for days (as much as you want to pump) and the bubbles are perfectly preserved. I read many reviews before purchasing and one said that there are some bottle tneck ypes that donโt fit snugly, so he wraps a rubber band around the neck and it helps hold the seal. Havenโt had that issue so far because all of my bottles are pretty standard. A couple of times after putting it into the fridge early on it would pop, apparently I wasn't clicking it snugly. So I now wrap a rubber band around the wingsj just in case to hold them in, no problems so far. But if you are able to get the wings to click firmly it shouldnโt be a problem. Itโs pretty well built but it is made with some plastic and some reviews said it can break. Thatโs OK, Iโm just being careful. Nice that you get two units for the price. If after a year I have to replace one or both of them, itโs worth it in savings and in drinking more of what my wife loves. Give it a try.

Definitely let's you drink champers slower
This is a well thought out product to help us with the age old question: How to drink just half a bottle of champagne? As we all know that half bottle will fizz out quickly leaving it barely good for mimosas. This champagne keeper will definitely add days of fizz life to your bubbly. After 3 days the champagne was still quite zippy. This test at 10 days found the champagne still posessinng life though I should have kept adding pressure. The keeper has a day number on it so you can track when you pressurized it. This test: 10 days. Results fair fizz. Wish list: the keeper was quite a chore to get into this common champagne the first time. Once seated it reattaches easily. Also the ten day test left the rubber gasket in the bottle when the keeper came out. That would have been embarrassing on the video :). All n all a good product. Give it try.

They are useless
Quite possibly the most useless product we have purchased on Amazon. Do not even bother with these. They donโt work, they fall off. They donโt function as intended or for anything else that might possibly beuseful such as regular bottles They just donโt work.

A Game-Changing Investment for Wine Lovers
I am absolutely thrilled with my recent purchase of the Champagne Stoppers Wine Saver from Amazon. As an avid wine collector and lover of fine vintages, I can confidently say that this product has revolutionized the way I store and preserve my precious bottles. It's a game-changer for anyone who wants to enjoy their favorite wines without worrying about them going bad or losing their flavor over time. The Champagne Stoppers Wine Saver with built-in pump is incredibly easy to use, making it accessible to both novice and experienced wine enthusiasts alike. The design allows you to open the bottle with a simple twist of the stopper, allowing you to pour your favorite glass without any hassle or spillage. Once you're done, simply close the stopper back up to seal the bottle tightly and prevent oxidation from spoiling your wine. Press the button to pump out the air from the bottle, creating a vacuum that stops oxidation, prolonging the life of your wine. The quality of this product is top-notch. The built-in pump creates a vacuum that removes air from the bottle after pouring, ensuring a perfect seal every time, preserving the taste and aroma of your wine for an extended period. I've been using it for several months now, and my wines still taste as fresh as they did on day one! The Champagne Stoppers Wine Saver with built-in pump is not only practical but also elegant in design. It looks sleek and stylish on any dining table or wine rack, making it a great conversation starter among your guests. In conclusion, the Champagne Stoppers Wine Saver with built-in pump is a must-have for anyone who loves and appreciates fine wines. It's not only functional but also stylish, making it a fantastic addition to any home or collection. I highly recommend this product to all wine enthusiasts out there looking to preserve the quality of their favorite vintages while enjoying them at their own pace. Don't hesitate to make your purchase - you won't regret it!

Sharp edges
These work well if the bottle is the exact right shape. However, when trying to get it off, you need to press down very hard on it to overcome the pressure intentionally created, and even then, the clips you need to release have a fairly sharp edge. You need to take a fine file to de-bur the edge.

Game Changer for Champagne Lovers
LOVE IT. I never thought two stoppers for $15 would change my life like this. I originally bought them as a Christmas gift for a friend who told me she drinks less champagne now because she often wastes half the bottle when she cannot finish it on her own. Someone had mentioned a newer type of stopper that also removes air like wine savers, but designed for champagne. So I searched on Amazon and came across these. Wow, they work incredibly well. They worked so well that I ended up buying a set for myself too. These are nothing like the old traditional stainless steel champagne stoppers. The bubbles were still very present even the next day. They clip on very securely at the top, and it's leak-proof (although I would not recommend laying your champagne bottles horizontally, as the next time you open them it can be quite "explosive", as with any type of bubbly liquid). IMPORTANT NOTE: these are not for wine! They do not fit wine bottles at all. This is really a product made specifically for champagne and sparkling wines. I definitely recommend this product!
