Fun project for anyone who loves butterflies.

It is built so simple. I gave this to my granddaughter as part of her birthday gift and she absolutely loved it. She is waiting for the caterpillars to arrive. Great gift for a great experience!

I liked the kit, but I was expecting a bit more. At the very least, I thought it would have more space for the butterflies.

THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE CATERPILLARS. Maybe this is on me, but having the product name "Live caterpillar to butterfly", is very misleading. The ONLY thing this kit comes with is the pop-up tent and a little booklet that shows the metamorphosis process. It doesn't come with caterpillars, the little logs to stand up the chrysalis lids, or the little flower that you put sugar water in to feed them. If I hadn't bought this for my classroom using a stipend, I would have immediately returned it. The zipper opening also only goes halfway, which is very cumbersome when you're trying to get the caterpillars inside without disturbing them on the lid. Having to buy the caterpillars and other materials separately was super annoying and pushed back my project with the class for a week. Again, this is definitely on me for not reading more thoroughly and I will not make that mistake again. But don't put "live caterpillars" in your product name if there are no live caterpillars and they are sold separately. It's also hard to call yourself a "kit" when it's literally just a pop up mesh tent.

so the habitat itself is fine but I do wish that there was a little bit of a heads up that you had to order the caterpillar separately and also when the caterpillars do come, you get no notifications so thank God I was able to find them because they were delivered to my mailbox literally locked inside !! The biggest disappointment with this is my caterpillars are in chrysalis right now about to come out and this thing did not come with the butterfly feeder and I realize every other one of these comes with it so now I’m scrambling trying to figure out how I’m gonna feed the butterflies when they come out because this does not come with one just as a heads up other kids do come with it

Way to expensive, you only get the container, the caterpillar is not intend, and they will send the caterpillar only in U.S.A.,they will not ship to Canada.
