I contacted Sasquash via email, and received an apology about the defect from Mr. Mull, who advised me he’d send a replacement to my home. To my delight and surprise, he sent the Burger Master Kit that Includes: Bigfoot Burger Press, Mammoth Wide Mouth Spatula, 9" Melting Cheese Dome, and (2) One-Handed Squirt Bottles. That, friends, is a great way to do business, and ensures a customer for life.I bought this in February. It worked great. No complaints. Then, yesterday, the handle snapped off. I contacted Amazon, and they said the return window has passed. They claim you can “Use it for years to create gourmet burgers and sliders, but use caution due to its extensive power”. I guess “years” means 7 months. I’ve contacted the manufacturer. I’ll update once/if I hear from them. Until then, I’m very disappointed.

By far the best spatula I own! I love the weight of it. I wanted a spatula that would not bend or break when making smash burgers. This is that spatula! Also, get the burger press. It’s super heavy and I leave it on top of burgers and meat for more surface contact with the griddle.

READ the low reviews, these are the folks who actually put this spatula to the test. It looks great, looks like it's decent quality, and you'll be excited to receive it... until... you actually use it for smash burgers. Worthless! Total waste of money. It simply isn't strong enough to do smash burgers. I had to resort to wearing a silicone glove on one hand so that I could apply pressure directly on the top of the spatula because the handle is too flimsy, it just bent. Avoid this product. Get one of those round, heavy burger presses with a handle, it's the only way to go.

I have pre-flattened my smash burgers in the past and decided to finally do it correctly and smash with a decent spatula.This does exactly that, nice thick stainless, nice sharp edge for flipping the patty, good quality handle that should last a long time.I get a better crust now, so result achieved.

I love this thing. The Sasquash is built like a tank — heavy, solid, and perfectly flat for pressing burgers. A really solid, well made piece of gear for the grill. Sure, it costs more compared to hardware grill spatulas but this is definitely a much higher quality piece. I suspect it will last for many, many years.
