Does this rug snag when dogs walk in it?

No, it does not snag when my cats scratch it either. It is not looped at the exposed ends, only by the backing. These are sturdy, don't fray, dry quickly. I love them and they are super soft. My cats love to lay on them. They are thick & plush. And they stay put. Hope this helps. I loved my first set so much, I bought them for another bathroom. The best part is they dry in the dryer very fast. I think it is because the rug itself is not looped carpet. I love them
