It came with a colored instruction sheet that says, “Open the chaise legs fully to the red line,” and they even helpfully marked the red line with a marker. To adjust the backrest, you have to close it all the way first, then open it again to the angle you like. The fabric seems easy to clean. It’s sturdy but still light enough for anyone to carry around easily.

Super cute decent chair
It did seem a little bit cheaply made at first and I was worried I spent too much for it. However, once I realized that I had to kind of force the aluminum legs open so they would lock securely in place, I felt very safe with it and was amazed at how comfy it is considering it's appearance up close. I do have to be careful getting on and off it because I'm taller and weigh almost 200lbs. but I would buy it again. The face hole seemed uncomfortable at first because of the one area without the cushioning but I found if I rested most of my chin on it, it was very comfortable and even aligned my neck at a good angle - I would trust a nap in the chair without a sore neck after. It also folded well and I was able to adjust the shoulder carrying strap at a perfect length for walking with the folded chair. I find it very easy to use and would recommend it - bonus that it comes in a super cute colour:)
