This stuff REALLY works well! Hardly any “elbow grease” needed to get the bugs off of my wife’s SUV. Great price, too. I use Maguiar’s products for nearly all of my car care needs for a reason. I discovered Maguiar’s in the late 1990’s, they haven’t let me down yet!Why did you pick this product vs others?:Maguiar’s has an excellent reputation and I’ve experienced this consistently, when applied on my cars/trucks/motorcycles.

I have a new white car that got tar of some sort flung onto its side from the wheel. I tried EVERY home remedy I could find online: goo gone, WD40, hot soap and water, and barely made any progress. The instructions for this said let sit for 5 minutes, then clean off. I had my doubts, but it did in minutes what I couldn't do in hours with any other method. I was shocked at how effective it was. Does not remove tar as good as other products I have used. However it seems good on bugs

Fantasic! I was dissapointed when I couldn't find Turtle Wax brand foaming bug/tar remover; however, this is far superior. DO NOT buy liquid bug/tar removers as they just roll off the grime and do nothing. This foam clings to and dissovles bugs w/out scrubbing. Spray, wait 3-5 mins, then wipe off.

Doesn’t remove tar. Save your time and money. Check a test spot first, but I found WD40 works on tar after finding this product did nothing. Images are after using this product per instructions and even after trying to scrub it a bit.Removal ability:Doesn’t work on tar at all.

1600 miles round trip along I-70 and ended up with a load of bug guts on windshield and front of car. This was on sale and almost half the price of another brand I'd seen recommended. Honestly I think no matter what you use you'll need a LOT of elbow grease and multiple applications. This worked much better on the windshield than the paint or plastic parts of front/hood of car. Gets an average 3 star rating thanks in part to it making my car at least not gross me out when I see it and also because it rinsed off super easily with a hose. I think using something abrasive to scrub the guts off would be much more efficient but obviously you can't really do that on a car. Directions said microfiber cloth but I used a soft paper towel. It did remove a lot of guts that two different absolutely downpours didn't even touch. Oh, it smells nice.

This actually works. I drove from Nashville to Westpalm Beach and got back washed the car and the bug splatter didn't come off. I bought this because 4$ mailed to me was a deal. I washed my car again same thing bug juice still there. So I wet the areas sprayed this on them let it sit for 5 minutes or so. I then took a brush and with very little effort everything came off.
