Universal Forest Products 24Pk 1x2-36 Grade Stake

I had already ordered and received a replacement before this was delivered. I would have returned it but I had to take it to a UPS dropoff which is 25 miles away. I’ll be using them to stake young american chestnut seedlings. They should work well.

These are sturdy and hold up to being pounded in the ground, but the ones I just got are NOT 1x2. They are 3/4" x 1.5". I fully get the nominal vs actual size differences in lumber, but that difference should be noted in the description.

Great landscaping stakes.... This is something that typically would like to get at my local hardware store, unfortunately they almost never have them in stock or they have bundles with more stakes that I would know what to do with.Another problem I've run into with landscaping stakes is that they made of crap wood and tend to break as they are being driven into the ground. These stakes were very high quality and every happy with them!These worked out great.

These are great, exactly as the description says PLUS it's like getting a big ol' box of southern pine perfume! - so, BONUS - makes for an awesome unboxing! Southern pine garden stakes! Smells like spring!!

I received the stakes quickly (Prime) and staked the approximate location for our house while waiting on the Architect. The quick visual for size (stakes 3ft) and some mason's string run level for a perimeter was very helpful to discuss set backs, drainage and plan the driveway. Will be interesting to see how close I was when the surveyor does the final accurate pin. Much easier than cutting your own. Jon Hanson, Green OhIo Homes.

Too many local stores have the skinny, twiggy stakes. I want the big ones - and they delivered. Thank you - one less struggle in the garden - well-packaged - love these.
