Fantastic little stove
Works great, i've been using this stove for several years now and love it. Just big enough for one big skillet and one smaller one, and the wind gaurds are a lifesaver on breezy days. It also folds down to the size of a little briefcase, so it travels easily. A few years in, after being left outside over several rainy weekends, and I'm starting to see a couple little tiny rust spots, but I'm positive that could have been avoided if I took better care of it. I'm super happy with this stove, and if this one ever does die on me, I would happily buy the same stove again. It doesnt burn through propane particularly fast, but if you're doing a ton of cooking, or have multiple propane appliances, a 5 or 11 pound propane tank will save you a lot of money over buying a ton of the little green 1 pounders.

Excellent Burner Control
This is a fantastic stove! I was really wanting precise burner control for simmering when needed. This delivers. Fairly lightweight (not backpacking friendly though) and puts together with ease. Doesn’t seem too flimsy. Works well with the “green cylinders” or with a hose attachment for running off of a bigger tank. Two things I would recommend. First, some rubber non slip shelf and drawer liners. Can be bought here or at any Walmart. The bottom of the stove does not have rubber pads and it will slide on a lot of surfaces. The liner took care of that. Second, you can buy the Coleman stove bag or….go to bass pro and get theirs for $20. It’s significantly cheaper than the Coleman bag. It’s a good bag, it fits this stove with room to spare, the bag zipper is good, and it has two green cylinder pouches. I can put the stove, non slip liner, a grill lighter (extended tip), and still have room in the bag. I was torn between this and the camp chef Everest 2 stove. I am glad I went with this model. A lot cheaper than the Everest 2 and I cannot see any possible gains by spending the extra money. Excellent product!

Always a good Coleman product
My son bought this for my camping trip (and for when the power goes out) because I loaned my old one to him and he "forgot it at his camp site". Lives up to the Coleman name, durable, uses propane for easy cooking, and heats up your food quickly. A nice size for a easy camp meal.

No griddle plate but excellent product!
Works great!! Came in clutch at the lake. Wind was at 6mph . I can see it working at 10 mph or at least up to 15mph. Would of been five stars if it came with the griddle plate

Awesome camp stove!
Love this camp stove! Super easy to use and clean. The wind guards are very helpful to keep the heat retained. Grates are a good distance apart, can support smaller pots. Case is great, easy to cary. I've been using this for about a year and it's held up well.

(Still) Very happy with it
Update (9/1/2025)I have been on many more camping trips over the last 2 years with this stove since I bought it. I did buy a 5lb propane tank which is much easier for me to carry around and avoids the green canister disposal conundrum. It works great with the adaptor I had purchased for the 20lb tank. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this stove. I've moved to the Midwest so the black metal isn't as big of a concern, but it still heats up. I do not regret this purchase at all.Original Review:"Light weight" is relative. For a backpacker this is not light at all. For tent or car camping, I think this is really light, but not flimsy. I've only used it on 2 camping trips so far, so I can't speak for it's longevity, but I'm impressed with its function so far. I haven't tried to cook anything that was super delicate and needed an ultra-low setting, but I've done fluffy scrambled eggs which need a lower temp, and they turned out great (and fluffy)! I specifically did not want the version of this stove with the piezo lighter. I find that they typically go bad at some point and why spend the extra $20? I use a rechargeable arc lighter that never requires that I get too close to the flame, and I recharge it once in a while. I just prefer that. This stove is super easy to clean. The rack lifts out easily so that I can wipe down the interior and soak the rack if necessary. I don't love the black metal casing because I live in the desert southwest and the sun is intense and heats the black metal up. I bought a propane hose converter from the 1lb connector to my 20 lb tank, and that has worked flawlessly. I have also used it with a 1 lb tank with no problems either. I just prefer not to use the disposable 1 pounders. A 5 lb tank is in my future--best of both worlds, but I digress. This stove boils water pretty quickly (in my 6-cup percolator). Perhaps not as fast as JetBoils or other stoves of that nature, but for an 11,000btu burner (11,000 per burner) it's quick (perhaps about 3-ish minutes). I've had a Camp Chef Explorer where each burner was 22,000 btu and that is major overkill for me at this stage of my camping. That said, I didn't want anything with less than 10,000btu. The stove has a built-in hand grip when it's closed up, so nothing rattling around. As for the propane connector, I made a small bag out the leg of an old pair of jeans that I'd cut off, and it prevents the connector from clanking around inside the stove while transporting it. I would have no hesitation to recommend this stove to anyone if they're looking for a two-burner camp stove that isn't as...hefty as my Camp Chef was.
