Shocked by how effective this is!
I have a new high powered sewing machine that would make my IKEA desk wobble horribly so I bought this on a whim to try and stabilize it til I find/make a table I can sink the machine into. This bar was super easy for one woman to install alone. My IKEA Bekant desk has T shaped legs with round posts and it seems to be secure but care has to be taken when positioning it. Once everything was tightened up and I started to sew, the difference was immediate and significant. No more wobble! This is a huge quality of life improvement that makes my current temporary setup much more pleasant to use. Highly recommended!

Perfect with one minor issue
Absolutely perfect for my desk that was supposed to come pre drilled with holes for a support bar but didn't. With that desk I had to throw out the support bar and buy this and boy am I glad I did! The only issue I have is the clamp section that tightens against the frame. They should be squared not cut as they are. You have to position the support brackets slightly back to fit a small frame desk. However, I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a desk stabilizer bar system. To people complaining about the price... It's absolutely worth what you pay. It's high quality and very strong. Absolutely worth it, and I'd even pay up to $100 for this on the quality alone! This will fit any desk. My desk has 1 inch frame bars and the clamps do close completely on them. I originally had to ask to find that out. So if you have a small frame desk this should work. The clamps close almost completely, so you should be fine. Note that my desk is not a standing desk, it's a smaller regular desk and this works great and now I don't have to worry about my desk collapsing. 10/10 I'll recommend it to anyone who needs a support bar.

I would probably rate 4.5 stars if I could.
First I’ll say that I’m definitely satisfied with the job this is doing and im happy I bought this. My desk is the flexispot e7 plus 4 leg. It’s a solid frame by itself, but no desk is perfect, and so at my standing height of 41”, it did wobble a little bit from side to side with fast hand movements between the mouse and the keyboard. It probably wouldn’t bother the average person, but I think maybe I’m just hyper sensitive to the wobble after researching about desk frames so much…anyways, about the cross bar.. I saw this product and was curious if maybe it could improve the stability, and I’m happy to say it gets the job done. In one of the pictures you can see that the edge of one end is bent slightly, which is why I had to take half a star away. This is causing the clamp to not be flush with the leg. Alas, I don’t care enough to get a replacement because i dont think it would make much of a difference, as im already happy with the performance. In the video you can see how little the waterline moves as I type and switch quickly from my keyboard to mouse. I am definitely happy with the wobble improvement thanks to this crossbar support.

As many people said, prevents side to side wobble. Very well.
I set this up like an hour ago and it's worth every penny. Really cuts down on side-to side motion. I no longer feel seasick writing documents. If you want to test for side to side vs up and down wobble: place a glass of water (mine was tall and narrow, don't know physics so don't know if this works with any other dimensions) on your desk and try doing basic activities like using your mouse and crucially typing. If the water is bouncing up and down like a close-up video of a speaker, you have vertical vibrations, which this will not fix. IF your water is sloshing side to side, you have horizontal wobble. This will be especially annoying if it's causing any monitors on your desk to sway. Is the stabilizer actually universal? Fairly! It might be a little janky on rounded table legs. It does, however, work on square legs incredibly well-mine are quite slender and the rubber clamps that hold the stabilizer in place worked great even though there's a bit of empty space between the clamps and the bar that goes across. Installation was easy. Recommend getting a ruler to make sure both sides are at around the same height.

easy to install, hardware could be a little more robust, but works well
For the price, the design is nice, it worked on my Flexispot 3 section leg standing desk. Definitely made the desk WAY more resistant to moving side to side. Plus the dang thing makes for a fine foot rest while standing or sitting! Only con is they give you only TWO bolts to put the two sections together. Come on guys, can you spare two more freaking M6 bolts and nuts... what gonna cost you like 25 cents? Charge me, I'll pay it! But I recommend for any decent standing desk, it will take any single or dual legged design with only a top and legs and make it much stronger, this is not in doubt. Update: still happy with it, BUT for my Flexi desk with 3 segment telescoping legs, it still wobbles with this brace on lower section of middle section. And plus the brade gets in the way of your legs in sit down desk position, but we can't get around that. On top leg section, the wobble is too much. What I might do is get a 2nd or even 3rd brace to make the side by side rocking cut down to near 0. However, front to back rocking might not be solved all the way. Moral of the story: first and foremost, do get standing desk with 4 post legs, NOT 2 post legs. Glad VIVO offers this nice little hack for standing desks.

Well built but does nothing
The product is well built and well packaged. Clearly a reputable manufacturer. Easy to install and very solid construction. I have nothing against the product’s build quality but have to say I notice zero difference after install. Literally not one bit - truly - not even slightly. I have a vari desk on carpet so that may be the issue but this did absolutely nothing at all to improve the stability of my desk. I literally do not notice even a slight difference. I am less disappointed with this product than I am just disappointed I still have a bad wobble. Definitely stay away from vari desk and maybe don’t waste your money on this product if you have a desk on carpet. My desk wobbles in seated position - ridiculous

Prevents side to side wobble
I'll get the bad out of the way first... it's overpriced for what it is, but there isn't any other universal product like this on the market, so not much can be done. I have a sit stand desk with 2 vertical supports. This does a great job preventing the desk from wobbling side to side, but it will do nothing to prevent front to back wobble... and that is no fault of this product. It went on pretty easily (my desk is wide enough that I had to max out the brace adjustments).

Almost Perfect – Great Stability, Tricky Installation
I installed this with my Flexispot E7 Plus (not the Pro version). The installation process was quite challenging—aligning the stabilizer bar bolts with the extended size of the Flexispot and its brackets was tricky. However, despite the initial hassle, it was well worth the effort. Once properly installed, this stabilizer bar makes a huge difference in stability. There’s virtually no horizontal wobble and only VERY minimal, non-disruptive vertical movement. If you're willing to put in the effort to get it right, it's a fantastic upgrade for a sturdier desk setup!

A must have for most standing desks
This bar removed horizontal wobble from my first omnidesk. It was well worth the investment and deserves the full 5 stars. I think should be a recommended accessory for most standing desks in the market. Highly recommended. Only pity it does not come in white.

After 1 year... An excellent upgrade for a more stable standing desk setup!
Like most VIVO products I’ve bought, this ended up being another really useful addition to my standing desk setup! I originally started looking into this stabilizer bar because I noticed my standing desk had a pretty noticeable side-to-side wobble whenever I was typing, adjusting things, or even just resting my arms on the desk while standing. And since I use monitor arms instead of the original monitor stands, the movement became even more noticeable and honestly pretty distracting during daily use. However, after installing this VIVO stabilizer bar, the difference was immediately noticeable! Everything feels much smoother and significantly less wobbly now. I’ve been using and testing this product for almost a year at this point, and I can confidently say it made a huge improvement to my setup. My monitors move far less while typing, and the overall standing desk experience feels much more solid, stable, and comfortable to use daily. Installation was also very straightforward. The packaging arrived clean, organized, and everything needed was included. It really does feels well designed and easy to set up without becoming frustrating! My standing desk finally feels much more stable during long work sessions, and there's less monitor shake while working or typing. The only small downside I'd say is that it slightly reduces leg space when the desk is lowered, simply because the support bar sits underneath the desk. However, for me personally, that tradeoff is completely worth it considering how much stability it adds while standing. That said, I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a more stable and solid standing desk setup. It made a genuinely noticeable difference for me and has become a permanent part of my setup now... Hope this helps!

Turn that wobbly desk into a rigid one!
I inherited single-drive standing desk that has just two telescopic columns. The table top is extra heavy but I am a sucker for natural finish wood. The end result is a wobbly standing desk, particularly in the standing height, and it wobbled side to side more than front to back. I did some research and saw a lot of positive review for this particular part. Installation was a snap (pun intended) and did not require any additional tool other than a hex key. End result... any extremely rigid standing desk! I could not believe the difference it made! I still have some front to back sway but that is not expected to go away with this design. Kudos to VIVO for making this a universal attachment and super simple to assemble. Pro tip: keep all the bolts loose and use some books to prop-up the two halves that slide into each other. Once the two halves are horizontal and uniformly slide into each other, tighten the bolts. That's it!

Made a huge difference with stability
My desk is on carpet meaning it won’t be as stable as a desk on hard flooring. Regardless this was a very quick fix to remove a lot of the side to side wobbles

Works as advertised
Removed my side to side wobble completely would recommend!
