You'll dance with ease and comfort in Sansha's Blitz 3. The dance sneaker features mesh overlays for breathability, a durable lace-up front, and a split sole to help you flex your best. In 1982, Franck Raoul-Duval, a 25-year-old Frenchman with a passion for dance and Russian history, created a new type of ballet shoe. After numerous trials and adjustments, he came up with an innovation that changed the lives of dancers everywhere. The split-sole ballet slipper, with its glove-like fit, was born. Sansha now manufactures an extensive range of dance shoes for everything from ballet to jazz, hip-hop to flamenco, and ballroom to tap. Sansha collaborates with dance professionals, teachers and store owners to remain a prominent brand in the dance capitals of the world.

Most grippy sole among other dance sneaker
Seemed very comfortable and are the best-looking among the 7 different dance sneakers I ordered, but returned because the sole was the most grippy among the group. I wear them for ballroom dancing and even the typical Capezio sneaker does not slide along the floor as easily as would be best for this purpose. I typically wear a Men's 10.5 US dress shoe, 11 running shoe and these were the right size for me at Sansha 15(10 M US Men's)

Love this Blitz 3 Sansha for Zumba
About sizing, my feet are pretty narrow thin; my size between US 5-5.5 (5 for sandals, pumps; 5.5 for boots to have room for socks).I came across one reviewer said "stay with your street size", but I listened to hundreds of others to size-up and ordered Sansha size 6, which was way too big. I returned them for Sansha size 5, which is perfect and have room for sneaker socks too. So, if you DON'T have skinny feet, then consider sizing up. (To me, sansha sz 5 = US sz 5.5) ... Love this model over other the hi-step styles, where big heels and toes are too ugly and bulky.ONE KEY NOTE: While these shoes are good for dancing and cardio, I would not recommend these shoes for other fitness activities.I bought them for zumba class and really like them. Shoelaces at ribbon help to embrace my feet tightly comfortably cozy. I love cardio so I do high impact jump a lots, and my feet still feel happy.I prefer this type of shoes over any other sneakers (with pivot point for turning) because these shoes make me feel taller, and they help me to form nice movements and a dancer's body posture.UPDATE:Curious about other zumba shoes, so after 3 weeks heavy use of Blitz 3, I bought a pair of Ryka Influence. Compare to the Blitz 3, the Influence lacks of the cozyness and softness, rather, my feet feel surrounding with hard cheap sole and wall.To me, Blitz 3 is a TRUE dance shoes that allow high impact jumps. The Influence just another pair of inexpensive athletic shoes with pivot point. Here is my comparison:Cushy/Cozy/slipper = Sansha Blitz 3High impact jumping = Sansha Blitz 3Balancing on 1 foot = Ryka InfluenceForming nice straight body posture (like a dancer) = Sansha Blitz 3Wear on a date = Ryka InfluenceWear all day at gym = Ryka InfluenceWear all day at home = Sansha Blitz 3Because my feet love dancing, Blitz 3 gives them so much fun. So, if you're not much into dancing, but for the versatile and for the class, the Influence is the winner.

Sizing
I tried four pair of shoes before landing on this one. Whatever size you wore in dance shoes, is the size you should get to begin with. It doesn't run big or small. Others may think that because of the width. I have always worn 7's and tried an 8 due to review suggestions and it was way too big !!! Amazon was great and took back the wrong size shoes - so do not be afraid to try different sizes to find the correct one for you! These are great shoes for any and all types of dancing - professional or amateur.

Very pleased
I was a bit concerned about ordering this shoe based on some of the fit issues reported, but I wear between a 7 and a 7 1/2 shoe and ordered an 8 and it's a perfect fit. I have a very high arch and the support in this shoe seems very good.I bought the shoe for Tai Chi classes and it's perfect for that.

Good outdoor dance shoe
Bought this for my daughter"s ballet and jazz class that was being held outdoors. Description says they are true to size but I bought a size up as dance shoes tend to run small. They're just a tad big so 1/2 size up should fit perfectly. Gave it 4 stars as they are a bit pricey. Overall, the shoes meet my daughter's needs and they were delivered sooner than expected and we are happy with this product.

They run a bit small...
I know dance shoes SHOULD be a size larger than your regular shoe size, so I thought 10M would be good for my 9M feet.. however, my toes bang a bit into the toe box, so I probably should've gone larger. They sure are cute though, and they spin well. I'll probably stuff some newspaper into the toes to try to stretch them.I've tried wearing them again and they're just too tight. I looked inside, and although the SITE says that they are a size 10M for women, the label inside the shoe says 8.5 US!! No wonder they didn't fit. Changing my 3 star rating to 2 star. I wound up giving them away. :(

Great for Zumba! Love this shoe but sizing is a problem.
Great for Zumba! Love this shoe but ordering a size up proved to be all wrong, they were simply too big. I reordered a second pair in my true size 7 (or 6 according to Sansha sizing) and then sold the size 8 (Sansha size 7) to a friend who wears a size 8. Perhaps if your a 1/2 size you should order bigger.
