I'm white. My hair is slippery as hell I didn't need a bonnet for protective reasons so much as I just really wanted to keep it contained and off my neck while I sleep. My kid kept climbing on me and straight up pinning my head to the pillow while I yelled ouch. This was like a daily occurrence tbh. I try to avoid plastics/polyester so breathable Natural silk was an important factor to me, but silk is slippery and so is my hair so I couldn't ever keep a bonnet on even if I tied it too tight. I tried a few different styles and lucky for my black friends I had to give away every luxurious mulberry silk bonnet I ever tried. I gave up on the search for over a year but I tried again and I found this one. So grateful. The actual band part that touches your skin is not silk, nor is the exterior, so it doesn't slip off and it stays put. It feels like rayon or bamboo so it's still very soft and breathable but holds tf still So much so that I don't even have the little elastic "drawstring" tightened down at all and it's fine. I'm so happy with it I've been googling things like can I wear this in a kitchen instead of a hair net 😅 If you have an enormous volume of hair this may not hold it all but I'd say it's decently generous in the volume, on par with most medium /large bonnets. I bet it might even hold my partner's waist length locs but he doesn't have extensions so his hair is not super thick.

Nice and soft and fits well. Stays in place while sleeping and slips right off in the morning keeping hair smooth, shiny and less tangled and knotted. I gave only 4 stars because the elastic band is so much narrower than the pocket and can twist and move around. Also the little buckle is a bit uncomfortable

I have a big head and BSL greying hair and I can never wear anything tight around my head, it gives me a headache. I walk outside daily and I am always wearing stupid hats because of the sun will bleach and dry my hair further and make it brassy, plus the wind will wreck havoc on my hair. Between the sun and the wind, my hair was becoming a mess. I was apprehensive about ordering this item, but it met and exceeded all my expectations! 1) It is so cute 2), the interior is lined with silk so it does not dry out my hair, and 3) it holds all of my hair without feeling tight and protects my hair from the sun and the wind!!!! I can wear it outside without looking "bonnetted", it just looks like a slouchy cap. I will also be wearing it at night, using 2 flat pins to make sure it doesn't come off during my sleep. I am so very pleased and will be ordering more and various colors for every occasion like sleeping, walking daily and just looking cute! I can see myself wearing it in the winter under a woolen cap/ As I type this, I have had it on for 3 hours and I hardly feel it. Love, love, LOVE IT!

Loving this hair cap! After sleeping in it for a few nights, here are my favorite things about it: -Easily adjustable, so it's less likely to slip off in the middle of the night -A mix of modal/silk lining so it has a little more grip on your head (compared to all-satin hair caps) -Super comfortable and protective -The Ocean blue color is beeeautiful and vivid like the pics -Been waking up with softer, bouncier hair (Bonus: it's been great for helping prevent bed-head frizz in the mornings!) Things I can't speak on yet: -Washability (though it seems to be of good quality materials that will hold up well) Highly recommend this silk cap especially for frizz-prone, curly hair!

This silk bonnet is like the friend who gives amazing advice but then ghosts you at the party. When it’s on? MAGICAL. My curls wake up looking like they’ve been on a wellness retreat. No frizz, no dryness—just hydrated, bouncy ringlets living their best life. I’m talking main character hair. But the problem? It refuses to commit. Every night we start strong… then somewhere around 3 a.m., it yeets itself off my head and disappears like it’s got somewhere better to be. I’ve found it in my pillowcase, under the bed, and once inside my pajama pant leg. It’s got the escape skills of a raccoon. Still, for the few precious hours it stays on, my hair is thriving. I’m docking one star for its wanderlust spirit, but let’s be real—I’m not giving it up. I’ll just start wearing a helmet to bed

Works - hair is silky when I wake up. Comfortable if I rotate the buckle from the adjustable strap around to my forehead before sleeping.

The resizable strap lays flat enough to not be bothered by it even if its directly behind, the inside silk feels smooth and non-catchy and the outer mat cottonish cloth feels great too. The strap does seem to slip a little by the end of the night if wearing the pack for a few ours to be a little looser. While that might be better for head health than leaving it on too tight, it still seems like something unintended.

Happy with this. The natural silk is cool and comfortable. I have a large head but shorter, thinner hair. I didn't have any problems with the fit.

I wear this to bed to help protect my thinning hair. Does a great job of keeping it in place. I dont have much bulk to my locks so its probably a bit big fo me, but does the job nevertheless.
