I have two of these that I use for outdoor Christmas decorations. I first have a timer which plugs into the “in” on this device and then three cords going out to the various decorations and lights. Has experienced rain with no problems. Has been very reliable.

Because this was such a good price.I was afraid it was gonna be flimsy.But let me tell you what... This is made from the highest quality plastic. It's a heavy duty plastic like it's so hard.You can literally use it as a hammer if you wanted to. I used it outside during the winter to help a stray cat.Keep his house warm and I was really worried that if water got in it it could be a potential hazard to the cat. But it stayed nice and dry and the cat.Never got electriculated and it's freaking , so great. It's a great bye great value. So durable high quality

Purchased this to split the power going to our chicken coop, so this powers a light, a water heater, and a coop warmer. Its been outside all winter in Minnesota and has held up great. It is under a wooden overhang so not subject to snow or rain, but definitely in the elements. It does what it should very well and I would recommend as it is a good value!

This adapter is very heavy duty and well-manufactured for the most part. What brings it down to four stars is that the caps that are supposed to snap on to cover the outlets are either misshapen and worthless or very loose. I bought this particular adapter since it looked like the covers would stay in place better than others that just slide in and out of the sockets. Such a simple concept. Too bad it's so hard to find one that works as promised.

This is a perfect solution to extend the plugin capabilities of a GE Plug-In Outdoor Smart Switch Model 12720 Zwave Wireless Outdoor plug, where the outlet is recessed a bit preventing most multi plug adapters from being inserted. That 1/2 neck is just enough to access it. Yay for the holiday decorations.

It is rugged and suitable for outdoor use. It works without a problem in the rain. If I need another, I will reorder.

I used this to add a smart plug to a plug splitter in an outlet that is installed upside down. The smart plug is wide and would have covered 3 outlets. This also faces upward when plugged into an upside down outlet which makes it perfect for the smart plug I have which has a power button. This also means gravity keeps the caps on. I'm not sure how well these would stay outdoors if they were upside down (the way they are supposed to be) and being rained on or blown by the wind.
