Kral Phyllo Dough for Baklava Borek, Turkish Yufka, Partially Pre Baked Very Thin Filo Pastry Dough Leaves, Fillo Pastry Dough Sheets, 2 Pack

I made Baklava a few times with this sheets. It is a really long sheet. For a family of 4 , this would make 5 to 6 time a 9×13 pan baklava. Follow the instructions in the package and you have made a delicious treat. Baked treats was crispy. The pastry has a smell to it due to the raw dough I believe but baked treats did not carry that smell.

Wanted to try making Borek after having it in Türkiye. Although mine didn’t taste as good as theirs, this product worked great. It was every bit as good as in Türkiye! It came with two so I know ready for my next one. It is freezable and I hope that won’t change the texture much. We shall see.

I opened one package. It was all glued up like a ball of dough and clay. It was the worst I have seen. So I threw that one out as I had the feta cheese and egg mix ready to fill the phyllo dough. The second one was the same thing.. It breaks my heart that out of two orders, I couldn't even prepare one dish as I had to dump them both in the trash.

I am not an expert baklava maker at all but those made the best I've ever had. It came packaged well too.

Havent used as of yet so can't rate quality as far as tast or how well it rates in baking. But received as described and fast delivery.

The sheets are good for a cheese Turkish borek style pie. They are made in Turkey, which is great! The only bad thing was the package. It was placed in a soft plastic bag. It caught the heat of the summer during transportation and during the time that it was left on the front porch. Luckily, I picked it up quite on time. It arrived ok, but it can get ruined easily by the summer heat.
