Worked well with new replacement low voltage landscape light easy to connect and new light mostly do not come with connectors.

I compared this to others, and this was a step up from the basic connectors that come with lights. It is easier to use, more solid and allows you to hook up both connectors at once, so they are mated easier together, less likely to get mixed up when connecting multiple lights in one spot--which I did. ​Value for money:​ Why did you pick this product vs others?: They were the same price or cheaper than other connectors but were more solidly built and better design. Ease of use: I found that other connectors I used sometimes lost contact, wire didn't stay in contact with light contact; these guys had a much better design with a pin in the middle that got compressed with the wire when you tightened it, while the others just had a flat pad. The latter system allowed several of my lights to come lose. Trouble shooting these connection, when buried in the dirt and bent over and on your knees in the cold is not my idea of a good time.

Great product. I have used inline wire splices of different kinds over the many years and these by far are the easiest to use and very sturdy. I'd say a SOLID 5 stars.

I gave it 4 stars because the idea is great but execution isn't perfect. Since the threads and caps are plastic when the wire is cold the caps can't push down hard enough to pierce the insulation. When everything is warm the threads are too pliable. I was replacing a connector on a cold day and used a hair dryer to warm the wire but left the connector cold and it worked pretty well. Note that I WOULD buy these again.

These provide the perfect solution to the problems I have had with my low voltage landscape lighting for the last 25 years! They are very easy to use and are a foolproof way to connect lights to the low voltage wire.
