With salons closed due to COVID 19, this is a life saver. It is not a substitute for a professional colorist, but covers those pesky roots quickly and well. Even after the salons reopen, I will use it the week before my appointment as a touch-up. It shampoos out so there is no risk. I have not had any transfer onto pillowcase and it does not feel sticky or odd. Just be sure you let it dry which only takes about a minute or so. The above review was written in April. Since the salons have opened, I do not need to use it as often. My hair is light/medium brown with highlights. I was using the Light Golden Brown Magic Roots. However, as others have said, it is quite a bit darker than the photo on the can and the color name implies. I am going to try the Dark Blonde and see how that looks. In the photo on the can it is slightly lighter. I guess to cover grey roots, they cannot make it too light. OK, I tried the Dark Blonde on my hair and it looked about the same as the Light Golden Brown, which is pretty dark. Then I tried both colors on a white Tshirt and could barely tell the difference. However, it does cover the grey roots and I only use it at my center part and just behind my bangs. I still think it is a great help when roots start growing out, even though it is a little dark.

Purchased this for my wife as a fill-in option between salon appointments, and it works really well. It covers gray hair quickly and blends naturally with her color. Great temporary solution that helps extend time between touch-ups.

So...with the COVID lockdown, I haven't been able to get my hair colored in over 4 months. I know - y'all are feeling the pain as well. I am about 75% grey. It's not the pretty grey either. Nasty texture. Wiry in places. Getting VERY thin at my hairline. It just isn't fun. Decided to give this a go and I'm glad I did! My goal was to tone down the crazy old lady look. It sprays kind of like a heavy aerosol, so you can't be nitpicky about every little strand of hair. It cost less than $7 and I didn't expect a salon finIsh. Keep the can pointed away from the edge of your hairline. Let the spray - sort of float - and softly get those edges. Work in small-ish sections. I held the can between 6-8 inches from the section I was working and used little bursts. Then went on to the next section. Even with the thinning hairline, I still have a lot of hair. Took me about 10 minutes overall. I am VERY pleased with the results! The color is true to the picture provided on the seller description and I got pretty good coverage. Be careful you don't overdo it because too much will make the color look very flat. If you have a shine spray, toss on a few spritz’s when you finish styling. I think you will be very happy. I had no issues with discolored skin/scalp/hands/overspray or any of the other comments I've seen. This will not replace your normal professional color job, but it will get you through until the next available appointment. I will definitely buy this again!!

I love this product. It gets me by in between color appointments. Super easy to use. I think the colors are a bit darker than shown, just a bit. I have medium auburn hair and I use the medium brown or golden brown shade. I use my hand to shield my forehead from overspray. It washes off my skin easily, but it's harder to get it off my nails, it kind of stains. If you get it on your scalp it hides thinning hair as well. When I get sweaty it does not run like Rudy Giuliani's color did! But it does rub off on pillow cases. It did not wash out of my cotton pillowcases, so that's why I give it 4 stars instead of 5.

I ordered this for my mother because she uses it to touch up her roots. She likes it and she says it is cheaper then what they sell it for at the pharmacy chains.

This is a fantastic product! I was very hesitant about buying it at first at first. however, after I used it the first time I realized I do not have to color my hair as often! That is an absolute plus in my book! I sure hope they never stop making it! I have bought it three times so far and will continue :-) It is easy to use- Just spray it on your roots and it covers them up!!! Goodbye gray hair Also, I’m not only saving money by not having to color my hair is often, I am preventing it from being damaged! Win, win!

I've been using this product for awhile however, there are definitely a few issues. It makes my hair stiff and dull looking. It covers the gray well but the texture of my hair after seems very unnatural. I have to brush it through a lot to make it a bit more normal. Also, I have medium to dark brown hair but I need to use Light Golden Brown to get even a close match to my color and even that goes on a bit too dark (and also colors the scalp). I haven't tried any shade lighter but I've tried darker shades but they look black compared to the rest of my hair. I have seen it transfer to my pillow case but it always comes out in the wash with no problem. On the plus side it is easy to use and can last for several days. It covers the gray, is inexpensive and it does the job between coloring.

I love this stuff. Be sure to shake the can before using. Coverage is great. I recommend getting a shade 2 shades lighter than your hair because it tends to be on the dark side. I was getting Brown, then went to light brown, and now light golden brown. Light brown was still a little dark for my medium brown hair.

If you ask for 'Light Golden Brown' rest assured you will get a 'Dark Brown'. And dont get fooled by the picture as well !!!! So if ur planning to pay double/triple the price for a INR 600 value product, pretty much your call.

I was worried the light golden brown would be too red looking. It’s perfect to hide the greys between colouring. I have a bayayage colour and this blend in great. It does flatten the roots a bit so not great for volume but is good if your out and worried about being a picture.

I have grey hairs at a young age - like bad. I use this product on my part and sometimes under the sides in between hair appointments. I found this product did a very good job hiding my greys and blending in. This product was easy to use. I saw some people rating this product poorly for the fact the box was too big and for the fact it dribbled on their hands or forehead. It is dye - of course this happens. It was incredibly easy to rinse off. The only issue I had was it felt sort of gross to touch my hair (or if I touched it my finger nails would get brown on them) but my hair did not look dirty. The box issue - it is definitely silly to have such a small product in such a big box - but it was annoying to repeatedly read through reviews to keep reading this. I think it would be better to reach out to amazon or the seller separately about that issue.

Quick and easy use, but need to hold it away from your head to cover in a better fashion.
