ILM Adult Bike Helmet with LED Front Back Light Bicycle Helmets E3-10L

Funny story... I had ordered a different brand and style helmet but for whatever reason it never shipped, so I cancelled that and saw this one and ordered it. Sooooo happy that happened!! I LOVE this helmet!!!! This is my first bike helmet but not my first helmet. I've owned many for many different purposes (lots of motorcycle helmets) over the decades and this one impressed me with the quality of the plastic shell and the impeccable construction with how the inner foam is molded to it. The shield and lights are nice touches. The strap adjusts easily and is comfortable. I attached a GoPro mount to the top of mine and rode with it for about 30 minutes and completely forgot it was there! Works flawlessly. I love the sort-of hockey style look of the helmet (I've owned hockey helmets too). The open ear areas allow you to hear the environment without obstruction. Head movement is free and easy. The visor is pretty cool. Provides good eye/face protection when pulled down and even looks neat left up. I kind of like that it lends a "fighter pilot helmet" look to it, especially with the dark grey and black. Ventilation seems fine to me so far, but I'm not pedaling much (MTB ebiker here) so I didn't get very hot under the helmet. My head is 58cm and the size that encapsulates 58 fits great. Overall, I recommend this bike helmet 100% and I think I will be looking at ILM for any other helmet needs I have in the future. This is not a sponsored review, I just really do love this helmet.

Ive had this helmet for almost 3 months and, unfortunately, I got to really test it when I fell off my bike on Friday. The helmet took the impact and protected my head, while the full-face visor protected my face from what would have otherwise been a much bigger impact and a lot of road rash. After the crash, I’m genuinely thankful I was wearing it. The helmet is damaged and I’ll be replacing it, but I’d much rather replace a helmet than deal with a head or facial injury. Ended with a broken wrist. My favorite thing about this helmet was the visor. I used it on every ride. It provided great coverage from wind, bugs, and debris, and I really liked having that extra protection when riding. The built-in lights were also a nice bonus, especially for visibility. After three months of regular use and one pretty serious crash, I can honestly say this helmet did its job. It protected me when I needed it most. I loved using it and would definitely consider buying another one.

Really nice Helmet for riders with large heads! :) Nice adjustable chin strap and cover. You can adjust the rear-end of helmet to fit your head snug. Nice LED lights on front & back. A few programs for the flashing lights. Clear lights in the front. Red lights on the rear of helmet. Easy to charge with C-charge cable underneath rear light. No charge cable comes with this helmet>Bummer! Anyway's I love the look of this helmet. Love the front adjustable tinted lens shield !That's a big +++. The chin strap is nice and adjustable. Foam inserts in helmet come off for cleaning or comfort. This helmet will fit a BIG HEAD! I highly recommend this helmet! Good quality-Fit's nice-Look's Cool-Protect's eye's-Has warning lights! Helmet even has nice cut out ports to enable good air-Flow! Great AIR FLOW!!! very comfortable!

Extremely comfortable, and I appreciate the more "all purpose" look of the helmet. I have a relatively large head (I wear a 7 3/4" hat) and this helmet fit me perfectly and could be adjusted tight enough that it didn't feel like it would fall off my head easily. The retractable lenses are nice because they also protect your peripheral vision from the bright sunlight, something that bothered me with normal Ray Ban style sunglasses. The only thing that I felt is a little disappointing is the lights. They work fine and after a week of commuting I have not needed to recharge them yet, but only having the choice of white light in the front and no light in the back, or red light in both the front and back feels like an odd choice. The front light, even when on the white light also isn't incredibly bright, but might work in a particularly dark environment and will suffice for visibility from other entities on your path. The weight is light, and so far I have not had any issues with scratches. Overall I'm satisfied with this helmet.

My last helmet was decent but I had 2 main issues that I was looking to solve with a new helmet. First, the shaded eye shield was great, but like most bike helmets it had a large plastic visor coming out of the top of the helmet that prevented the eye shield from rotating up the way this helmet does. The only option was to take it off, and it wasn't particularly easy to store on your bike. I had plenty of rides that either started or ended while it was dark where I just had to leave the shaded eye shield off even though it would have come in handy at different points of the ride. Additionally, the shield would get smudged and scratched from constantly being put on and taken off. This helmet solves that completely. There is no sun visor, but that isn't a negative because the shield is fixed on the helmet. If it's bright, I pull the shield down. The ability to flip it up or down based on changes in lighting is HUGE. Fewer smudges and scratches, able to handle the sunrise and sunset rides, and much more convenient overall. It was the primary reason I bought this helmet, and it has met my expectations perfectly in that regard. The second problem with my last helmet was the chin strap. When I let it out enough to fit me, it only had a tiny bit of strap left to go through the clip and it frequently fell out. Because the strap system spanned both sides of the helmet, having it slip off messed up sizing all the way around. It was a mess. This helmet has PLENTY of extra strap AND an elastic band holding the extra strap in place. It keeps the extra strap from getting in the way, and ensures that there won't be a slip out. The lights are a nice touch. Honestly, I don't want a white light in front because I eat enough bugs while riding at night without something seducing them to the region around my mouth hole. The flashing red in front and back adds to your noticeability factor (but you really should have lights on your bike, too). I usually get at least 5 or 6 hours of riding with the lights on before I charge it. FYI, when I say I have a big head, I am not exaggerating. I had to get a special brain bucket when I was in the military and I wore a massive 7 7/8 cap. Kids used to call me 'refrigerator head.' In the 6th grade. So, this helmet is great for its eye shield versatility, its accommodation of massive craniums and its secure chin strap. It isn't quite as well-vented as I am used to, but it hasn't felt hot on any of a number of rides I have gone on with it. If you want a lightweight helmet with a flipping visor that accommodates larger heads and has lights on the front and back, this one comes highly recommended. HEY, thanks for reading this far. honestly, the first helmet ive worn since i was a kid....my cars engine blew up, so while i wait for that to be dealt with i walked 4 miles to a store and bought a electric scooter, rode it back, almost took a nasty spill and was like 'yep k ima grab a helmet' feels comfortable, lightweight, love the visor, works well with my glasses, has a tint to it so the sun isnt so bad, and honestly i probably dont look as dumb as i thought i would...

Awesome helmet. Was looking at $200 helmets and this does everything but the turn signaling. Great quality, great visor! Love the visor as it’s not too dark and works to block wind and debris day or night. Wear it w shades or not. Great fit, comfortable and looks great! Futuristic Star Wars look is pretty cool 😎

Comfortable tp wear. I really like the moveable eye shield - not sunglass performance but really cuts down on glare. I also like the built-in front and rear lights. I really recommend this helmet.
