In my painting experience oil based paint has to be painted over but I would try a cotton ball with paint thinner if it is a small area.

will color fade or wash away if put on clothing then washed in the laundry with detergent?

I am painting on wood, however, when I do get any on my work t shirt and it has been washed several times, the colors haven't faded or detached in any way.

Do they work good for 3d Printed models?

Yes, the paint markers works good for 3d Printed models.

Are they good for using on tumblers?

They worked great on plastic tumblers.
