Arthritis Saver
My MIL has lost a lot of her hand function and this gives her the ability to cut her own nails and retain some of her independence for a bit longer. I know they're pricey but they're well made and easy to use even when you can't feel most of your hand/fingers.

Don't waist your time
I purchased this hoping it would make cutting my toenails easier. This clipper does not work very easily, it is hard to squeeze, not very sharp and I can barley get my nails cut. I have given it a couple of try's but going to throw it out.

Its great, but has a drawback
This thing does its job. It is the easiest thing to cut thick nails with. The head swivels.. which its wonderful to a point. But it does not lock in place, Making it harder to get under thick nails. I can see why people mat have hurt themselves with it. I took a chance… and i am super careful… but if your not, it can be a problem. I am mostly happy. Just use caution

Overpriced because of some limitations
The rotating cutter is the best feature, one can come at the nail from any angle, this makes it very convenient for cutting ones own nails and helping others to do so. However the position does not lock, it is a little too loose and can rotate when trying to do the cut. The handles are well finished in a nice color, they are different lengths, and because of the rotating head, they can be easily turned with the longer part in either the palm or the fingers for individual toenails. Toenails that are soft and pliable cut fairly easily and smoothly. However the clipper does not work well for all intended features so it is overpriced. The trimmer does not cut through tough nails especially on the great toe, not even medium tough ones, barely dents them. This is when the loose rotating mechanism can be problematic, it rotates away from the intended nail cut and it has to be realigned several times. I am not talking about those super thick hard toenails that some people develop, I am talking about getting out my old regular Revlon toenail clipper that worked quickly with one clip on that same nail like it has for years. I see this as more of a novelty item that may or may not be more useful than the typical style of cutter.

Best clipper I've ever had
Works great, easy to use. love it. Also, had a problem, and the company sent me a new one, no questions asked. They stand behind their product. None of the others match up to this.

Great clipper
I seen an orthopedic doctor interviewed on a morning show.Being a senior, this works great. The adjustable cutting edge and the stapler type handle makes it easy to hold and use. Cuts easily thru the thickest nails that I have such a hard time cutting through and would always end up cutting my toes and bleeding.

Looks heavy duty- but it's not...
When I initially received this clipper I thought I was in heaven. Finally, a heavy-duty clipper with an adjustable swivel head that I could use with either hand for my toenails. Well- hold on a second. After having and using for a few months and several clippings:1. Most important- this unit barely cut through my admittedly thick toenails when new, and now after a few cuts it won't clip all the way through anymore. The 2 handles are held together by a spring-loaded connection- not a fixed pivot point. Very nifty design except that now when trying to apply clipping pressure the clippers press against the toenail AND THEN EXPAND THE SPRING instead of cutting the nail.2. When clipping the handles must be pressed all the way together (so they touch) to make a cut. Consider a pair of pliers: They are normally set to apply maximum pressure long before both handles come together. In fact most nail cutters that use a plier type design do not require that both handles be fully compressed.3. The handles fit nicely in your hand- when not being used. However, as you start to squeeze them together the effort becomes more and more difficult to fully compress and the grip becomes awkward. In short- cutting is more difficult than it should be. If the jaws came together when the handles were only half depressed, and if the spring-assembled design still allowed max pressure to be applied to the jaws- then these would be wonderful. As it is- they look nice but don't do the job on heavy or thick nails.Been too long for me so I can't return them, but this is money down the drain.

Not worth the money. Way too expensive for the job it does. Cheaper ones work as well or better.
