are these nuts only for cooking and baking?

Cooking and baking are the most common uses, but they are often used for other purposes. Many consumers, for example, eat Fisher Chef's Naturals walnuts as a snack or use them as a topping on yogurt/cereal. Walnuts are an excellent source of ALA OMEGA-3 (contain 2.5g of ALA Omega-3 per serving, which is 156% of the 1.6g Daily Value for ALA). In fact, most of our walnuts are even certified by the American Heart Association.

Question for the manufacturer: What is the current expiration date for this product?

Each bag lists its own expiration date on the back towards the bottom. The one I just received says "BEST BY 02/26/21".

Is there any cross contamination with Dairy? Thanks!

Our Fisher Chef Natural recipe products are run on shared equipment which may run dairy containing products. We have a robust sanitation program in place to assure no cross contact between runs. We verify that lines are clean with testing prior to starting a new item to assure that there is no residue.

Wait a minute! One16-oz pkg is $6.72 with free shipping, but 2 6-oz pkgs is $19.36? I'm not a math genius, but even I know that doesn't add up.

As the manufacturer of this product, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. However, the pricing of the product is controlled by the retailer. Please contact Amazon's customer service department to express your concern. Thank you for choosing our product.
